Dear friend, namaskar. By this time you might have gone through the book. Can you give the brief introduction of the sages?regards.

Do you mean 'Swami Rama'? Ouch, I recently found, as is discussed on another thread, that he was not pure as pure can be... He turns out to be a bit of a let-down.

Dear friend, namaskar. My post has no inkling about Swami Ram. i have only made an enquiry to the initiator of the thread about the warrior sages.

I have no much idea about swami Rama. But i have come across a reference on voluntary control of involuntary autonomic activities recorded in one scientific study. This is healthy. I know no further. What is against him to your knowledge? regards.

Hi 'login',

I was actually writing to the initiator of the thread who wrote:

I think by "Rava" he means Rama. Sadly, I only very recently found out that there are multiple and well-substantiated claims against SR of sexual abuse of his followers. Normally I take such claims with a pinch of salt, as being jealous outsiders making things up. But in SR's case it seems well-attested to, so that's pretty sad and a shame. I much enjoyed his book "Living With The Himalayan Masters" but apparently he may have made up some portions of his life as well.

Namaskar. Rava may be Ravan, the villain of Ramayan, also. Ramayan says that Ravan had done tapasya for 10 thousand years without food to get power. regards
