Hi prashna,
I meditate and chant to kali yuga in the mornings, and have heard some of the classics by Ajoy Chakroborty.......don't understand the words but the emotions just flow.....absolutly brilliant. If only I lived closer , I would be first in the queue.
Hope you have a big turnout and good luck. Here's a poem by Kali Yuga...
Caught in the storm, battered by waves
The ship of my life was blown off course
By the winds of selfish desire
My breath rises within me,
the breath o my heart
The sweet breath,
The sacred breath leads me in.
Now the winds begin to die down
and the waters grow calm.
I have found a haven for my heart,
In the harbor of the Name

Hi OkeyDokey,
Actually we have a solid oak sofa at home. So, we, that is my wife and I, often find peace close to the oak tree, or at least the remains of the same. We also have pretty large oak trees within 200m and several apple trees in our garden. So tranquility is never far away!
Ajoy Chakraborty's words?
That'll be the day. The classical vocals are not exactly full of words. The rest, well, they are and easy for me to understand as it is in my Mother tongue.
Thank you for the lovely poem. Here's another
Tomari nam bolbo...
By your name I shall call, at every pretense
___When I am on my own, lost in my world
Without words I shall utter; without expectations!
___I shall say it with my smile; and with my tears!
No need and yet, I shall still call you by name
___for that call alone fulfils my inner being.
Just as the child calls its Mother,
___obsessed with her name.
Just happy to be able to utter, her name,
___Ma, s/he calls her again and again.
Regards and thank you.
