My daughter has been given a homework question in R.E. and we have no ideas at all. Any help would be gratefully appreciated!

a more sensible answer from my 18 year old daughter....although not sure how it fits... candle being light and scent travels so could be the passing on of the word...

You should never knock one over and they're not to be sniffed at?

Glad I didn't get asked questions like this when i was doing re. My worst homework was to draw God....I drew a large black woman with loving eyes and a caring smile. I got three detentions for my little act of rebelliosness.

If you read the bestseller book "the shack" - that's exactly how God was - a large, black woman.
Hi Barafundle...I think they were expecting me to draw a lovely old guy, with a long white beard...or at least that's what they told me. My reply as a cheeky 14yr old was 'you asked me to draw God not Santa' ...I think it was that bit that got me the detention lol.
Hi HG...I have only just read The Shack (finished it today) and it was that portrayal of God that had reminded me of the homework. So much so I have dragged the picture out of an old box of school work I have.
