Hi any members in Hampshire. I am off to the Langstone hotel Hayling island at the weekend, dinner on the first night included, but can anyone recommend somewhere else to eat within 20 miles distance for the other evening (we like most foods, don't do pasta's (wheat intollerance).

Thanks
Jane

Hi Jane, I'm originally from Hampshire and lived on the island for many happy years, you'll love it!! The Langstone is very nice and situated in Northney, a lovely part of the island. I've stayed there recently and eaten in the restaurant with family. Standards are high.
The Royal Oak pub does good food if you want to stay on the island also Jaspers in west town has a good following and Marina Jaks is good if you enjoy seafood.
Other options for food and lively places to eat would be gunwharf or port solent area.

If you want some ideas for things to do. You must explore Chichester harbour there's a great walk along the shore from the Ship Inn along to Emsworth and I can also recommend walking the Hayling Billy coastal path.
Oh, and Bosham is gorgeous too.

Have a delicious time! 😀
(If you want more info just holler)
