Today I am grateful for....not being a refugee.
It would seem that today's photo of a drowned Syrian boy - shown widely in the media - has finally catalysed significant developments. Politicians appear to be concerned and are saying the right things about proposed actions...we shall see.
Meanwhile there are many charities that are taking donations to help those in this crisis situation. A spokesman for one of these charities said that the public have shown eagerness at finally being able to do something to help i.e. not with the apathy that the media is depicting. This is heartening...that people still care and respond.
Today I'm grateful for the sleet. It may not last, but at least right now we have proper February weather.
Today I am grateful for having my energy suddenly restored (it's been ages since I felt like this!)
Not sure of the reason - maybe a combination of factors, e.g. starting to take an omega 3 fish oil supplement (to help with the high blood pressure), restless sleep (all that tossing and turning, burning off a lot of energy) and having something to look forward to, i.e. discovering a local philosophy group.
Good. I'm glad you are feeling like this. A local philosophy group sounds fun. The best our village runs to is a garden club - although I'm not in any way complaining. Gardening is good.
I have a peony bush that has never flowered. I feel it is poignant that this month, this year it did so (following the demise of my mother last November - it brings me comfort).
Today I am grateful to be blessed with the blossoming of a deep red peony bush - for the first time.
That's so special - thanks for sharing Amy.
Today I am grateful for my naturalistic garden! It brings me so much joy.....here is a recent photo of it...
To the untrained eye it just looks overgrown but there is a lawn meadow (in the centre). To the right there are sweetpeas (by the rainbow), to the left a hydrangea bush and behind that a small Japanese maple tree. A virginia creeper is growing on the trellis behind the tree.
Beautiful Amy. I was sitting out in my little garden this evening, looking out over the field we have behind and looking out for the family of young pheasants that strut around. The peace, tranquility and beauty was just breathtaking. I felt so blessed. So thank you for sharing your gratitude and photo.
Love and peace,
Judy

So so beautiful....I love it.
Amy, that's lovely. Thank you. Today, I am also grateful for your garden. And mine. And so many others. So I thought I'd show you a photograph of mine.

Lovely so lovely. I tried to show my garden but it will not allow me upload a photo. Keeps asking me for my URL. I still enjoy looking at change daily with all the activities from nature. Give me a piece of mind.
Today I am thankful for another day, another sunshine, another bountiful day full of opportunities and blessings. 🙂

SuzyKeys, yes yes an other day of opportunities and blessings. May you have many!
Today I am grateful for -
1) Being able to see this beautiful day,
2) Being able to get up and do the things I want to do,
3) Being in a healthy state of physic and mind and wealth,
4) Being able to help others in some way.
Do you realise why I am grateful for all the above things? Because there are many in this world who are not fortunate enough to have this luxury.
Have a great day!
Ditto..
Today I am grateful for finally winning a prolonged legal dispute to get what my mother wished for me in her will! Justice has prevailed! Ecstatic!
