I may not got the exact wording for some of these questions,. However it will give you an idea of the questions that VTCT have issued this year. By the way, this was not a multiple choice exam.

thanks very much for posting the q's on here, a great help.
I am taking VCTC Diploma in A+P in June, is that what you sat, or was it just ( !! ) the basic A+P.
How long until you know when you have passed?

I think they have so many questions they can ask on the syllabus and different versions of the papers so you may find the same questions cropping up but it wont disadvantage those taking the papers first cause there are so many, worth checking out the other itec papers pinned here for more info.

We have done these questions as a homework project M149 does any one know if we have to do a written exam on them?.

Element one Cells and Skin. Competant

Skeletal system and Joints. Competant

Element 5: Exhibit knowledge of muscles and nervous system.

Lymphatic system and Blood vascular system.

Also done M74 Support Employment Standards. competant.

Waiting for the tutor to hand me back the rest after marking.

What will we be be doing for written exam?.

When I get all sheets back will post Questions on here.

Need to know if answers are correct first.

I completed and passed the VTCT VR02/VR74 paper as part of my massage course last night.

This recent paper is being used until 4th May, so I thought I'd post the questions and answers for reference. Correct answers have been underlined.

Thats really helpful the info you have put about the exam, as i am due to sit all my vtct swedish body massage exams soon! Have you done the a&p exam yet? have you got any advice for that exam, what to cover the most when revising, how many questions were in it, was it very hard ect...

There was 25 questions for the A&P exam which are multiple choice. The pass rate I think was 18 out of 25.

I do not have the question paper, but I think I do have my revision notes where all questions were listed. If I find them I will post them up for you in the next 2 days.

Thanks for getting back to me! I think i may be doing a different a&p exam as i have been told we have to get 100% pass, if we get 70% then we can answer the rest of the questions we didnt get correct orally with our tutor to try and get the 100%, if we still don't get it we have to re-sit the exam again, don't think we have multiple choice questions either for the a&p exam. Maybe they do different vtct a&p massage papers or something!

I thought all VTCT tuition and exams were relatively the same (someone correct me if I am wrong). With the VR02/VR74 we were allowed 7 wrong out of 25 questions and pass.

As for the A&P that I passed in January, that was a pass rate of 19 out of 25, and then of course submission of your coursework.

Ihave dug out all the questions that were in the exam and have listed them for anyones reference.

Thanks for the exam questions really helpful, I did spot the deliberate error in No 1 just to keep us on our toes!!!

Q12 - Least likely to be a general hazard? Answer is A - trailing flexes, is that not as bad as someone having an illness?

I can see why the answer should be A but also why B is OK. Any thoughts on that?

Hi!

Me again! Had my VR02/VR74 exam yesterday and was chuffed to bits to have found your post the night before. I know most of it is common sense but it did help to reassure me that I remembered some of the stuff - even though I did my IHM course from Sept-Dec last year. Yes, we had to wait this long to do the test and goodness knows when we will find out if we pass. But it's all done and dusted now - phew!

The mocks we had done were nothing along the lines of the exsam I took on Friday 20/4/ 07 it had knocked my confidence, but seening the exsam again, and your answers has restored my faith.
I am new to the forums and not 100% sure how it all works. But thats again.

I'm new to this site and just picked up on this thread as was looking for any advice on the VTCT exam for Body Massage.

Has anyone done this recently?

I understand that we need to label a diagram with muscels - Does anyone know which muscles they are looking for or how many we will be tested on?

I have noted the comments below on the 2005 paper. has anyone taken this test more recently?

I did mine in May this year, they do change every few weeks but neither the one I did or the paper before it, had a diagram to label. It's all multiple choice questions.
