Hi,

Is anyone taking their sports massage exam in June? (theory) I am having panic attacks about the exam especially the theory. Our tutor is rubbish and has not gone through the muscles with us apart from giving us stupid tests in the class every week (recently) then tells us to mark them ourselves at home. We have a skeleton in the room which we have never used. I wonder how half the people in this world become tutors (and are accepted by bodies such as ITEC) !!!!!

IF anyone has any help or advice to offer regarding past papers, muscles or indeed the practical exam I would be most grateful to you.

I am SERIOUSLY worried and my memory is that of a goldfish.....one minute........ 🙁 🙁 🙁

HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Is anyone doing VTCT nutrition or has done it in years gone by ???? I am looking for help with my case studies (If you have done it and have case studies that you are happy to share with me) I would be grateful to make sure I am on the right track.....or on the road going to wrongland.......

Wait to hear from you.

xpeace and love to all your holistic practitioners out there... XXXX

Back to the future!

Oh Lordy! My exams (theory and practical) are in less than 2 weeks! EEK! And as I review my syllabus I realise how poorly my tutor has prepared us for the exams. 🙁 I'm doing my best to fill in the gaps he has left by myself but am getting stuck.

However, the questions posted here by other users are invaluable. Thank you!

Anglefish, in 2005 you posted a whole sample paper. Would you (or anyone else) have the answers to that paper?

sports massage questions!

Hi
Just sat my sports massage paper yesterday.
The muscles that came up were all from previous papers.
Look over Splenus capitus, latissimus dorsi, teres major, brachialis, seratus interior and gracilis. Learn all origin and insertions as I can't remember which they asked.
The colour of fresh bruising, symptoms of cramp, effects of overtraining. One question on the type of stretching you would do for runners knee following acute stage. Another on the effects of nmt, and MET's.

Thats all I can remember for now, but if I think of more I will post. If anyone has sat reflexology or nutrition this year can you remember any questions.
Thanks

sports massage ITEC practical exam

Hi,

I failed my sports massage practical exam and I am gutted to say the least. I failed on very trivial points and am both upset and shocked. I just wondered if anyone knows of any good revision weekends for me to practice before I have to re take my exam within 3 months.

I am doing my theory paper on 26th June does anyone have any past papers? please mail me or reply here.....

would just like to say a BIG thank you for anyone who has put up old questions from exam papers. I had to resit my theory today.. after failing twice already and it does help to test yourself on the questions. Lots of questions on muscle insertions, origins and actions... always go blank when it comes to the multiple choice bits! Lets hope i pass it this time.. Thanks once again.
