RE: CIBTAC Exams Physiology & Anatomy/Massage Exam

I had a stress massage one for CIBTAC this year. I've tried to remember what came up but its completely gone I'm afraid. I wasn't prepared for CIBTAC at all as I'd never done one before and everyone was offering beauty one's which weren't really any good to me.

There was about 20 different body functions, so to speak and we had to put p for parasympathetic and s for sypmathetic for which ever nervous system controlled it.
Pupils dilate
Pupils constrict
Vasoconstriction
Vasodialtion
Secretion of gastric(it may have been pancreatic) juices
Production of gastric(it may have been pancreatic) juices
Sadly I can't remember anymore but you'll probably get the point. Those 8 came up anyway.

There was a question on the skin. I think it was about the different layers of the skin.

Hyperventilation brings more oxygen into the body - true or false

There were a couple more on first aid.

Which of these causes the most stress.
Getting married
Getting divorced
Moving house
Changing your job/getting new responsibilities in work

Just a little not on structure.
Some of the questions which came up would have 5 'explanations' and then the answers for you to choose from would be like,
A: 1 & 5
B: 1, 3 & 5
C: 2 & 4
D: 2, 3 & 5
E: All of the above

Coronary Heart Disease is the biggest killer in the UK - true or false

I'll try to think of more.

I actually found it to be much harder than ITEC but I wasn't prepared for the structure of CIBTAC at all.
