OK, what's going on here, then?:eek:

A man's house in Bosnia has been hit by meteorites six times in three years, it's claimed.

As he himself says, statistically this is just impossible really. And academics have established that they are indeed meteorites. (Not meteors as the article says, which are those which burn up before hitting the ground.)

Is it some genuine paranormal event such as apports, or did he get the meteorites and plant them? The latter seems unlikely. Not enough data here to go on.

LOL, I don't think you used enough "really"s ...

Well, it's one of those things which you can't have an opinion on without much more data. It could never happen naturally, so if it did happen, there's something paranormal about it - hence my mention of apports.

There could also be some kind of scientific explanation. Some magnetic anomaly etc. He's not a million miles away from areas with unusual meteorite activity such as the occurence of moldavite. Admittedly, one property is a very specific area compared to a country/region.

Of course, it could also be a very well thought out hoax. Difficult to pull off but at the end of the day, any normal person would probably have moved house after the second or third meteorite hit!

If it happened to me then the logical part of my mind, I hope, would work something like this:

Meteorite hits my property once:
"Phew, close shave, I'm lucky to be alive....... at least statistics show that a meteorite strike is something I no longer need to worry about"

Meteorite hits my property a second time:
"Holy *! What are the odds on that?! - at least it won't happen again no matter where I live!"

Meteorite hits my propery a third time:
Option 1: "I'm getting the * out of here"
Option 2: "I've obviously angered the gods/some higher being, how can I put this right"

Meteorite hits my property a fourth time:
"OMG I'm an idiot, why didn't I move after the third strike"

Meteorite hits my propery a fifth time:
"Well that's my own stupid fault for staying".

Meteorite hits my property a sixth time:
Never going to happen, I'm not stupid enough to have stuck around after the third one, let alone 4/5/6th!

Again, I can only see it as being apports (meaning not actually hit at high speed) or, obviously, a hoax. But he sounds as stunned as anyone and would have to acquire the meteorites ...

There are no such things as geographical areas with unusual meteorite activity, though. They hit randomly at great speed, not being "attracted" to anything...

Jeepers! What a story.

Bannick said it so well ( and humourously too if I may say 😀 ).

I'd be getting out of there fast after the second time I reckon.

But if its not a hoax, then how strange. Something certainly parnormal about that!

Mmmm ..........
