Evidently, when Richard Davidson was explaining to Tibetan Monks that he wanted to put electrodes on their heads to study the effects of meditation they all burst out laughing. They thought that this was a silly idea. "Why do you want to see what is going in our heads?" They asked. "You need to put the electrodes on our chests to see what is going on in our hearts." They said.

Haha, that's good!!
Although I think it's another example of "spiritual" people thinking that they know better than science.... The classic example of looking deep into your heart of hearts for answers is more folklore than based on any science.
