Hi. I'm just moving to Wakefield area. Beginning a new career towards end of October. Not sure yet as to where West Yorkshire begins and ends but I'd like to meet up with other vegetarian/vegans and I don't really have a problemmeeting carnivores to be honest 😉

Thanks. I move there late October. Presently living in North Wales. Took a job before finding a place to live actually and now I'mstressing a bit over the latter. 4 weeks to go yet so I'm sure I'll find something suitable. It's a day job I'll be doing so any evenings will be good for me. 🙂

Maybe you can come along to that and meet us there . I can meet u somewhere in Leeds that day if you like, either the train station or the Corn Exchange and we can go from there.
Hope u r settling in ok in Leeds or once u get here anyway 🙂 , let us know how it goes.

Hi, You might like to pop an advert on [link= http://www.hemsworth.org ]www.hemsworth.org[/link] Hemsworth isn't far from Wakefield and there might be someone who knows of property to rent. You could also try and call Harrisons Estate agents at Pontefract they have property to rent too as do many estate agents.
Papers to buy are Wakefield Express and Pontefract and Castleford Express or if you are spending any time in week go to the Library they will have copies of the local papers and property guides. Lyn

Thanks for the link. Just been looking on their forum. I think I'm going to try for a houseshare in the short term. Privately renting flats on your own issooo expensive. I'd have no money left out ofa meagre NHS wage to play :(lol

There has been a meeting organised for Sun 26th Nov in Leeds at 12pm for vegetarians and vegans too come and meet other like minded veggies and vegans.
