For my sins I volunteered to be a part of the Wellington Food Town Project which will be rolling out over the next 5 years. I THOUGHT I was volunteering to put posters up etc but somehow at the Steering Group meeting I ended up beingCo-Chair for the Events Group!!! The thing is there is only Louisa from the local Cider Farm/Tea Rooms and myself and we are looking for some more volunteers to be on the Committee as well as lots of volunteers to help run the events planned for the year.
If there are any members of HP who live in or near the Wellington area and really would like to put something back into the community (and not for any personal gain!) I would really like to hear from you!

Thank you very much Healistic for reminding me Wellington has it's own website, I had totally forgotten lol! I will bring this up for the Marketing Group to look into at some date.
I'm happy to sayI attened a meeting last night and we now have 6 people on the Committee which was great. We had so many ideas etc and everyone was very enthusiastic about what we might achieve.
So, if anyone reading this lives in or around Wellington please support our events when you see them advertised!!!
