Scotland gets a mention - I thought we were going to be left out! We have counties up here too!!! I'm in Fife and work in Glenrothes and St Andrews - I also do home visits in Angus, Aberdeenshire, West Lothian, Clackmannanshire and Perthshire.

RE: Scotland!

Hi everyone. Am i too late to say hello...? lol 😀

Well its nice to see the weather is back to normal and we had our glorious summer last week! [sm=nature-smiley-008.gif]No wonder the BBQ's are being sold at discount now! But its even better to see a few others online from Bonnie Scotland. Iam in Renfrew (near glasgow airport) and have been doing reiki level 2since last summer and like many of you i didnt stop there, so now doing indian head, Hopi and learning accupressure. Watch this space for more ha ha

I think we should group Scotland into Highlands and islands, South Scotland, West central Scotland, East central Scotland plus a region for those that belong to but live elsewhere ;).What Iam i saying.....? Thats far too sensible especially for a friday. Erm How about those that like salt and vinegaror those that prefer sauce with their fish supper and those that no longer live near a decent chippy....? Now that should get folk talking lol

So who else is near or around Glasgow/ Renfrew/ Paisleythen and maybe interested in therapy shares?

Have a great weekend?

Alex

RE: Scotland!

Hello. Just come across this site and it looks great. I'm hoping to start at Motherwell College as a quite mature student in August doing VCTC in holistic therapies. Anyone else done this course recently - or intending to?

RE: Scotland!

Alex

Thanks for the welcome. The course covers aromatherapy, reflexology, indian head massage, massage and hopi ear candles along with anatomy etc. I've an interview next Tuesday to find out more and work out if I can still work part-time while I do the course. No idea how much it will cost, but I'll let you know.

I used to be secretary of the Scottish Holistic Health Association when I worked at British Energy, East Kilbride. Another past-members still out there?

Alex - it hus tae be : Salt 'n Sauce! and i no longer live near a decent chippie!! :005:

(i loved that advert for the new edinburgh -glasgow express train link they had a few years back that just had the two big chippie owners - going between the two of them 'salt 'n vinegar' - > 'salt 'n sauce'! :027::027:)

i only discovered these regional threads the other day - wow... really makes it feel like a community...

I was born just outside Edinburgh, but spent half my time growing up on Rum & Skye (thats the island Rum not the drink!!)....living in Manchester now, but visit the old land throughout the year!

As for having regional threads for scotland, judging by the activity, it could be a bit thin on conversations! :p

Hey everyone!
Just found this site last night.
I just moved to Scotland a little over 2 months ago. I stay in Perthshire and am currently searching for employment at the moment.
So if anyone knows of a massage therapy position open anywhere near Perth let me know. 🙂

why is Scotland so divided, as in football culture, religion etc?

I just LOVE Scotland and cannot see why Edinburgh or Glascow or Inverness should be better than any other place. Scotland is magical, you folks wherever you re from or living in, you ll always be so different from any other nation, you just dont realize it.

Take care,
