RE: Reiki in scotland

Hi Alannaha, (what a cool name ;))

I'm guessing that by the number of people who have viewed your post and not answered that nobody has been taught there or by Victoria.

Have you spoken to her in person? or had reiki treatment off her?

These are usually a good idea before you go to do a course with the Reiki Master to ensure that they feel like the right one for you. I'm sure if you've gone ahead and booked it already though, that your intuition is indicating that it's the right course and teacher for you, so I'm sure it'll be wonderful.

Keep us posted with how you get on.

Love and Reiki Hugs

RE: Reiki in scotland

hi thanks for your reply

i have not spoken to her or had a treatment but i looked in to Lendrick lodge and have heard about other courses they run there and have had good reports.
i know that victoria was taught by Margaret Underwood who is the 7th desendant of Dr Usui. and has trained as a reiki master for over four years.

but i will let you know how it goes

I did my Reiki in Glasgow. It was a one to one session which I found very beneficial. It was really laid back and relaxed and it was very reasonably priced. I'm not sure that I really like the idea of doing Reiki with a group of people. Its such a personal thing after all. I personally preferred the one to one approach

I teach Reiki and think there are benefits to both learning in a group or 121 - most teachers teach in groups as they have to hire premises and it makes more sense financially. I agree with the comment that you should try having a treatment from someone first. Also - if the person comes across as a bit of a know it all- run a mile. They are a teacher yes but as a Reiki Teacher it's important for us all to realise that we learn from each other continually
