I'm not actually from Lincoln (live about 30 miles away) but I am a student nurse there.
I am also a level 2 reiki practioner, and studying crystal and colour healing with BSY, I do feel myself increasingly split between nursing and complementary although love both!!

In Bern (Capital of Switzerland), they have bear pits used to guard the city in times past.
The pit that remains holds three beautifull bears all longing to be free again and I had a definate connection with them.
Nice to see we have so many spirits gathering in and around Lincoln.

Hi there Lincoln folks! Although I come from Essex and now living in Somerset I do have a tenuous link with you as my eldest daughter went to Bishop Grossteste College to train as a teacher and never really came back to Essex! Have spent many happy weekends visiting her during her training and now she is working as a teacher at one of the oldest schools in the area. Lincoln is now her home and she and her boyfriend (also a teacher) have bought their first home (right near the Cathedral).
We will all be meeting up there in Feb for her birthday, so who knows, I could pass any of you in the street lol!

Just popped in to let everyone know that I met Caringsoul for a coffee yesterday. She is a lovely lady and we had a great time. The time went by so quickly, and there was so much more that I would have liked to have talked about. We are hoping to meet again soon, if anyone else would like to join us!

Yesterday I met Caring Soul and Jacquie B and had a lovely time with them 😀
On another note, I am doing this on behalf of a friend, her son is having to part with his cat and he is looking for a lovely new home for her.
The cat is called Sophia but answers to Sophie, she is 7yrs old, Siamese/Burmese, prefers to be indoors, shorthaired, baby blue eyes, lives Harmston nr Bracebridge Heath, and her son will continue to pay for her Insurance.
If anyone is interested in giving her a lovely new home please PM me.

Only just seen this thread. Although I now live in Kent I am originally from Lincolnshire and used to live in little village called Bigby which is about 20 miles from Lincoln. I have had many a struggle to walk up steep hill after a night out!!!
