The waiting game

it is a strange feeling when the rush and panic is all over - get yourself some rest before you start your next course 🙂
hope the exams went very well...I have mine next week and again in June...fingers crossed! 🙂

It will be two weeks on weds that I took my final two exams, and we were told that it would take 35 working days from the day ITEC recieve the final papers that the results would come through. Some say it will be sooner than that but time seems to be so slow, I wonder every morning if today will be the day I find out! I have no idea or gut feeling if Ive passed or not, just hoping and praying that I dont ever have to open that A&P book ever again lol My life as a therapist is utterly on hold until I hear the results, and thats so frustrating!

I hope you all pass and that those waiting to take them find that you know all the answers!

Congratulations, its a great feeling. Now the real learning begins:) I am waiting for my reflexology results. Did the exam on the 13th May so hope they come soon ....ITEC do take their time.

I didn't think they would be back this quick, last year i had to wait till the end of august for the results.
At the min i'm just thinking out ideas beautystudent, have a room in my house all set to go, just need to sort out the small details 🙂 it's all so exciting

Hi, Finally got my reflex results yesterday. My friend and I both got Credits which is great but I have to say that we were both disappointed with our marks in the practical. We felt on the day of the exam that the examiner was much harder on us than the rest of the class and put this down to the fact that we were already ITEC practictioners in Aromatherapy and she may have expected more of us. We were considering doing an assessment to go on the NIRI register but have to say that our confidence is a little knocked. Any thoughts

Hi Aroma Amethyst, congrats on getting the credit...it's a brill result. Our tutors told us that it's quite rare to get a distinction - I don't know how true that is but I do know no-one got a distinction for anything in my class last year.
I don't think you should let the examiners marking knock your confidence...how on earth can they tell how great you are on one exam - and the fact you still got a credit when the examiner was hard on you speaks volumes 🙂 Go for the assessment and knock their socks off - regain that faith in yourself - you have worked hard enough and deserve to believe in yourself x

Thanks for the nice reply Beauty Student. Yes you are right, Thats exactly what I will do. Yes distinctions are hard to come by but not impossible and the last college I was in there were always a couple of distinctions in the class but I think that is a reflection on the teacher involved as she was very particular about the high quality of her training and giving Itec exactly what they wanted 🙂 Anyway onwards and upwards.

On a different note does anyone know why the La Stone convention this weekend was cancelled.
