Off up to Dublin for the weekend and would like to stock up on oils etc while there - can anyone suggest a good supplier in dublin city? Doesn't seem to be much on offer in cork!
Hiya Star_dust,
Try Flair, they are in Dublin 8, have a look at . I don't know of any others offhand, maybe other therapists here can help. Also do you know there is a MBS in Cork around 7/8th March. Was thinking of heading down for a browse but found out today that my godchild will be christened on the 8th.
Enjoy your trip to Dub.
Love Rach x
Beauty Express - I think they might be closed this weekend. That and Flair are the only ones I know. As for Dublin city centre, none that I know of, sorry!
Thanks guys, I will check both those sites.
Rach - yep I know the fair is on the 6-8th march. there isn't usually a lot of oils at it - more readings and books, cds, crystals, etc.
Hey guys, never got round to finding those suppliers in dublin, but did come across this wonderful website which I thought ye might enjoy also:
The lady running it grew up in cork and only sells irritant free products.
Check it out, I love it!!!
Hi Star Dust
What type of oils were you looking for. Atlantic Aromatics do really high quality essential oils and offer a postal service. You could also try Bomar in wicklow, they are good for carrier oils and floral waters and also do an efficient delivery service (Oh you can get bottles and jars from them too). I think they both have websites, but if you can't find them, you will find their numbers in the golden pages and they will give you their website addresses.

Thank you Aroma. I am mainly looking for carrier oils as I havent studied aromatherapy yet and can't use essential oils on clients. I'd like to try different oils like jojoba but the bottles always seem to be tiny!! I was hoping to find a bigger selection in Dublin.
Hi, you will find that the carriers are very expensive at the moment. The jojoba is a good one to have as it is sebum like and doesn't go off. Sweet almond and Grapeseed have a very short shelf life once opened, so unless you are doing lots and lots of massage you are probably better off with smaller bottles, though if a few of your classmates got together and split the large bottle it would work out a lot cheaper for you. I think Maura Barry of LaStone Therapy Ireland sells Jojoba oil, and I think her price was quite good. Bomar do the carrier oils ... Bomar.ie

Thanks Aroma, I'm not in college. Getting started on working from home so trying to source out good but not overly expensive products. Just had a look at the bomar site and its very good. Thanks for the recommendation.
HI
Hi stardust,
I got all my oils and carriers from bomar last year and they are great quality. The only thing I can't find at a reasonable price are containers like jars bottles and tins for recipies i'm making. If anyone has any advice on those it would be greatly appriciated 🙂
I can recommend these oils. The lady who developed and created the oils is most talented and a qualified aromatherapist and has a BA in natural medicine. Her reflexology oil is amazing as are the rest of her products.
