Hi Lionman, it is good to see there are more to Watford than Area and Weatherspoons. I am sure there are lots of people around the area pracitising healing.
I am new and still to enrol on a course but I would participate if you set a forum for this area.

have only just found this part of the forum

I live in Hemel Hempstead (if you didnt guess)

I am a qualified aromatherapist, I also do hot stones massage and japanese facial massage and aromatherapuetic facial massages
I have completed my reiki 1 and will be completing reiki 2 soon

I am married with 2 young children and became a therapist by chance after finding a book on aromatherapy at my mums house

I look forward to hearing from other Herts therapists and healers

hi sara nice to hear from you i work for a big retail firm so aim not trained for anything other then retail ha ha but iam also a lover of animal welfare as that was my main job for 13 years now i work with people!!!!!! your more then welcome to eamil me x

Hello Herts. People!

Have only just come across this part of the forum - fancy meeting you all here! I live in St Albans and qualified as a Reflexologist (with the A.o.R)four months ago. So still a lot to learn.
Is there another Reflexologist/Indian Head Massage therapist not too far in the County who would like to do a treatment swap? Seeing clients lying back and looking so 'blissed out' sometimes make me feel quite envious - esp. when my own life is pretty stressful (all too often!) Plus, it would be great extra practice for me.
Would love to hear from anyone interested in that - or just to say hi, anyway.

I live in Barnet, technically still London but with Herts in the postal address! I'm not far from you, about 20 minutes, and also do reflexology and indian head massage and would definitely be up for a treatment swap. I haven't had a reflexology treatment on myself since I left college! I qualified with the AoR in July - we probably did the same exam!

setting up in hertfordshire.

Hello everyone,

I trained in holistic massage a couple of years ago and just completed baby masage with Mscm in Ricmansworth, I am giving out postcards and placing ads but not had much interest yet :confused:
oh well will keep trying :).

I am going back to work in feb, to teaching in a school nursury after having my son and need to get more female clients as i hope to give up the day job.

I am wondering if I should work for a salon part time ?

I love teaching baby massage and hope to have a regular class soon.

Would love to do a swap with anyone in watford area, i do spritual healing, and massage but any swap would be good i would love Aromatherapy and indian head massage.

I really like massaging expectant mums do you think the course has changed how you treat clients now ?

Can you recommend any good books I love learning more but cannot do course not a good time for me at the moment as I am having a little post natal depression and need to take things carefully as i am doing to much with Baby massage and going back to work etc.

Feeling better all the time and have really good things happening .

The course is over 2 weekends, the first weekend was a refresher about
A & P and a lot of theory about pre-conception etc - I feel more confident from that alone but am really looking forward to the next weekend which is about the massage side of things

then there are case studies and an exam (not looking forward to that so much)
