Hello, my niece lives in Colchester and I would like to get an appointment for her with a cranial osteopath; can anyone recommend one in the area?

You can search the official register . To call themselves a cranial osteopath they must be on the register of osteopaths, which includes all osteopaths.
I hope someone here can offer a recommendation, but in any case I would always advise contacting the practitioner to discuss the particular concern or problem, it helps to go to somebody with whom you already have a rapport.
If it is particularly cranial work you are after, there are some good craniosacral therapists around also, and you won't find them on the osteopaths' register. On the other hand, don't rule out that other kinds of practitioner eg Classical Osteopaths etc may be able to help with the problem in hand. Quite likely they will, but they may take another approach, that's all.
