I just found this forum. I live near Southend but would one day like to move to Gloucestershire. Just come back from a holiday there and it was so lovely i want to go back!Not a big fan of Essex even though i've been here all my life but i'm sure there are worse places!

I was born & raised in Canewdon in Essex, which is where i found my spirituality. It has a fantastic history behind it, and i felt & still feel very connected to Canewdon.

I've moved around a little since, and have settled on Canvey Island. I hope to move to a countryside village in the Coggleshall area sometime in the future.

Will always be proud to be called an Essex Girl though!!

Hi,
I live in Takeley, near Stansted Airport.
I mostly offer "fully dressed" treatments: Acupressure (clinical and seated), Reiki and Zero Balancing, and I am currently trying to certify in Process acupressure which is like counselling while the therapistworks through a particular series of pressure points (designed to open up the person's emotional channels).
If anyone has genuine emotional issues they would like to resolve, and is willing to be a guinea pig for a case study (5 to 10 free sessions), I would love to work with you.
I also teach evening meditation classes in Great Dunmow (about to fold due to lack of interest) and in Bishop's Stortford (currently going strong).
Finally, I can offer Holistic Massage and Hydrotherm massage (a deep tissue massage lying ontwo bags of warm water) for anyone who really wants tobe massaged, but I prefer energy bodywork to the physical movement of tissues - it's much less work with no messy oils, and it is differently effective!

I do Reflexology, Reiki, Aromatherapy Massage and am studying Hypnotherapy with the Quest Institute at the mo, and will be looking for case studies, so anyone in the Rayleigh area please let me know

🙂 Wow there are so many people from Essex on here!!! I'm in Brentwood just recently moved here after living in Enfield and before that the Wirral (Merseyside) I did spend just under 5 months in (shenfield) and there's quite a few events going on not too far from me just wish i had the time to attend them all[sm=rollaugh.gif]

I'm in Colchester.

Anyone who wants to practice therapies on me feel free to pm me - I have NO money to pay you but I do have some intractable problems (see post in back and fatigue sections)and am quite happy to be a case study. I do design stuff - so could pay in design for leaflets or web banners etc. - used to be in marketing and publicity - so can help with that too. Can't travel outside of Colchester though.

Hi there stormy waters! Welcome to HP. Until August this year I was living in Stanford-le-Hope, are you near that part of Thurrock? I used to work in Purfleet/Orsett/Grays areas.

Best wishes and Light from Steeple Bumpstead, not far from the Essex Heights lol.

We also once lived in Saffron Walden, nice town but can get a bit lairy at night and the energies in the MarketSquare are very grey.

Anyway, here comes the plug, we have a share in a shop in Great Dunmow were we sell Crystals etc. and of course a web site [link= http://www.damselflyholistics.co.uk ]www.damselflyholistics.co.uk[/link] from which we sell a range of Aura Sprays. If you are ever passing pop in and I might make you a cuppa, though I am usually only there two days a week as I am establishing myself as a Crystal Healing Therapist in this area so I am travelling around Essex, Suffolk and Cambridge building up a client base. So if anyone needs a crystal healer in their area let me know.

I used to live on Canvey, practically born there, moved to Linford nr Stanford le Hope when I got married, and now live in Wickford.

Well I'm an Essex girl from Constable country aka Dedham. Talk about the village being in chaos when the weather is nice - the roads are narrow and its great fun to see two buses trying to reverse down the lanes.
