I'm about to move to Bucks in two weeks from East Londonn. I'm a massage therapist and would love to hear more about what goes on in Bucks.

This may not be the right forum for this but I'd like to hear from therapists practising in Bucks as I'm hoping to establish a practise or work for a practise in the area.

Hello fellow Bucks people

I'm a bit of a serial lurker on these pages these days as I have a young daughter and a baby to look after. I'm an aromatherapist and reiki healer and specialise in pregnancy massage. have not been practicing for the last year or so due to the joys of motherhood but am on a refresher course at the weekend and have just renewed my insurance so off we go!!!

There seem to be a lot of therapists around here but not that many gatherings. the only local place I really know of is Gaia near Wendover.

I live and work in AYLESBURY, Bucks. In reply to the statement posted by Philthy, Aylesbury is not that bad and it doesn't matter where you live, it's what you make of it that counts.

Hi, I was born and brought up in Amersham but now live in Brackley, which is only just over the border into Northamptonshire. Is anyone in Bucks doing therapy swaps?

I'm currently in North London but moving back to Amersham soon and then will be moving up to the Milton Keynes area.

I spend half my life back in Amersham though, even now. Would love to meet up with anyone and happy to take part in swaps. I practice reflexology, indian head massage and reiki and am just setting up my business.

I dont live in Bucks, but I am a regular guest on BBC Three Counties Radio (Beds, Herts, Bucks), we often get emails about things happening in your area whenever I am on the show (which is usually every 2-3 weeks).

Why dont you arrange some type of meet up event or gathering, or fair, and send an email into Lorna from the afternoon show (the show im on), and get connected to like minded people.

Im in Olney which is the Bucks border, would be happy to meet People if it gets arranged.

Ooh - I only just noticed that there were local groups on here! I moved down here in April from 'The North' so everyone just sounds dead posh to me (no offense intended!) 😉

I don't know where Chesham is, but I did have to drive a long way to Hemel Hemstead to find a Curry's that had my freezer in stock!

You're just a little north of Chesham, it's the last stop on the Metropolitan line. I live within walking distance of the Currys :eek:.

I am in Aylesbury, Bucks since 2001 - and I like it.
Actually a small village just outside Aylesbury...called Bishopstone.
I lived in Norfolk before that, around (and in sometimes) Norwich.
