Hello All

Firstly, apologies if I have posted this in the wrong forum but wasnt sure.
I have been living overseas for the last several years and just moved back to the UK.
Is there anyone living in Bristol here?
I am very keen to move to Bristol and went there a couple of days to check out neighbourhoods and possibly purchasing a property. Early days yet but really loved Harbourside and am looking forward to seeing Clifton.
Thinking it would be best to rent for 6 months and check out the city. I noticed that parking is a nightmare, so what are the best areas to live if Im offering massage therapy at my home? Would clients come to Clifton or Harbourside.
Would also love to get together with Bristolites for a coffee at some point if anyone fancies.
Thanks
G-Girl

Hi GG

I've moved your post to the Avon regional forum so you may get a better localiised response there.

Hello there i live just outside Bristol now in Yatton, but was born and lived in many areas. Clifton is a lovely place although expensive, most areas close to clifton are fine cotham, westbury, kingsdown,st andrews, Bishopston, redland all of these places have a quite a few therapists in them but i dont know how much trade there is as i never practiced there. I too do massage reiki and reflexology but mostly for festivals over the summer and keep my skills up with others doing swaps.
Southville is a up and coming place with a few therapists and an arts centre on the other side of the river from clifton, totterdown being the other place where there is a good friendly community i lived in southville for a while and loved it very friendly less students more mature ex students really.
Anyway if you take the plunge drop me a line by PM

Hi G-Girl

have you made the move to Bristol yet? The harbourside and Clifton are lovely places to live but parking can be a problem. Shambalaized has suggested some good alternatives.

I'd be happy to meet up for coffee and a chat 🙂
