My rescued oldie (approx 11yrs old)is very restless, mostly in the evening and to me she looks as if she's lost the plot at times.
Someone has suggested valarian for her. I have given her 240 mg daily for three days so far, hasnt made any difference yet.
Any suggestion out there?.
RE: Valarian- for senile dog?
Perhaps it used to be an 'occasion' time? meal or a walk or as you say rescued perhaps being hit?
I'd have a chat with Rosi on here, she may be able to get to the bottom of it, she's sorted Harry out.
RE: Valarian- for senile dog?
Thanks Sherringham. Annie was abandaned before I had her. I will ask rosi.
RE: Valarian- for senile dog?
Oh my goodness - thats exactly what my old dog is like - and in the evenings mainly.
She was owned by an old lady, who sadly passed away - the family were going to put her in a shelter, but i wouldn't have that (Fawn was 11 at the time - she is now an impressive 17)
so i know she has had a good life before and now. She has a heart mumur which may be part of it - but she really does walk around "doing laps" of the house constantly............. also walks back and forth wanting in, wanting out. Its crazy!
Any suggestions also greatly recieved.
thanks

Hi Caringsoul, I have replied to your pm.
Hi Nora_Bee, Has your dog always been restless since you've had him, or is it a recent thing? The restlessness sound like he's not at peace, perhaps something he's holding onto. Any changes in your family life recently, any stress present?
I dowse for root causes to an animals problem/issue and then use flower and gem essences to remove whatever it is that is causing the issue, whether it be fear, trauma, abuse, anger, jealousy etc.
If the condition is physical essences can also be used to heal.
Pm me if you're interested.
