Hello
Just thought I would update you on how Mimi is getting on.
We found the reason why she was urinating everywhere - a neighbours cat has been coming in. Everytime we have found him indoors, we have then found a wee. I think before he was running out before we got into the lounge (he is quite nervous). So we have not been leaving the back door open and now the weather has been getting colder we wouldn't have been anyway so hopefully that will break neighbours cats habit.
On a much more serious note. She actually let me rub her tummy and I felt a couple of lumps, so we caught her and took her to the vet yesterday. the vet said they could be cystic but could also be a tumour. He said these tumours are almost always malignant so she has to have antibiotics for 10 days and then go back on the 13th. If it is cystic they will have shrunk which will be good, if not she will have to have an op so she will stay in that day. He said it is major surgery and although she is 10 years old she is otherwise in good health so she should recover well. She had her pre op blood screening yesterday and was very brave when her neck was shaved and the blood taken.
If anyone is able to do healing, I would be very grateful as she has been through so much in her life and really doesn't deserve this.
thankyou so much
Lots of love
Sue & Mimi
