For the second morning in a row they decided the grass really is greener on the other side.
Well for their own safety, I rounded them up and was going to unlock the gate….obviously they hadn’t done that to escape! 😀
As I reached my arm over the gate one scampered away, closely followed by the others and hopped over the fence they had escaped from.
So they got back home safely and looked quite smug about running away from me too!!!

We sometimes get sheep wandering on the lanes near where I live....
I love to see them but I do worry about the maniacs on the road, which is why I needed to pull up and get them back home.
I'm sure the farmer was most grateful! Does he know there a hole there I wonder?

I stopped on my way home from work yesterday afternoon. There seemed to be so many cars passing at that time and the lone lamb was bleating and running frantically from one side of the road to the other.
I guided it to the side, off the road, and then went and knocked on a few doors till I found the farmer.
