My cat 'baby' is almost a year old.
Since day one, he has had kidney infection. Got meds he got better.
Now he has sores on his face and neck. I got cream for that, seems that they are spreading, and I don't know what more to do.. any advice PLEASE...
Will try get a pic of this up here a.s.a.p.
Sorry to hear about his ongoing problems, queenfe, but the best thing to do is to go back to the vet and get a proper diagnosis and, hopefully, some different treatment.
Holistic
Hiya, I would go to your vets. Kidney infections/problems can be due to either inherent kidney problems, diet - too much sugar and protein and the animal can not process it through the kidneys. If the system has an overload it tries to get rid of it in lots of ways - kidneys and liver, through the skin (as with your cat), through 'pooling' of sugars in the lungs and causing coughs/mucous build up, or by building up the toxicity levels in the digestive system.
As your cat is quite young, you need to be sure there is nothing inherent going on there by getting it checked with the vet. Also you can get herbs to clean and tone the kidneys. I distribute ones for horses and dogs and the company can make up cat ones i think. I use these as the lady who makes them is a herbalist and I can see through iridology what is going on internally with horses. These herbs are amazing and often the results can be seen with 24/48 hours and the positive changes are reflected in the iris so I know they work. If you want more info message me but your first contact should be your vet.
take care and I do hope you find out what is causing the problems.
