Bobby, I have know about this for some time now [sm=sad2.gif], and did do a posting on the old HP.

I hope all that read it will not buy IAMS for their pets anymore and spread the word! However when you start to look into this area there are more and more disturbing facts to emerge. I try to lead my life as ethically as I can and boycott all the 'baddies' [sm=nono.gif]and buy only eco friendly products for my home.
I also buy organic cat food but have to mix it in with the normal stuff as they dont really like. But it just proves that my cats are addicted to all the additives in their food the same as we are!
With all the nasty things that happen in this world I find that I can live with myself by leading my life this way. (mind you some would say I am unethical just by having cats as pets - but I do not agree with that view, I love my cats and they are treated as my children)

Ive stopped feeding these biscuits to bella, if only i had known sooner though! [&:]
My boyfriend hated me giving them to her he called them the 'jaw breaking biscuits' as they seemed to be so difficult for her to chew although she did seem to enjoy them...im now feeding her some soft dog food from a foil tray and mixing it with a little bran flakes lol she seems to be enjoying it, but am still on the look out for something more healthy!

Shocking but is anyone actually surprised ? I'm not. Theres always something like this going on in the world somewhere. Even in the remotest parts of the planet, some innocent furry thing is getting maimed or murdered by the Human population.

The Human race ( in general ) is disgusting. Anyway, me and my dog cleo have made a donation. I like to think that even my little contribution will help.

this is outrageous, i wonder what eukanuba is about then, do they do the same thing!! i should bloody hope not or heads will roll! for many of us our pets are our children, those who cannot have their own babies have their dogs, cats, budgies etc as comfort and a friend and companion, i think this is disgusting!! anyone going to write in and ask about it! i would but i dont feed my dog on IAMS...let us know how it goes if you do write in and stop buying the damned stuff. my dog has not been right this week after eating some tripe chews from tesco's i am going to write to them to get my vet bills back!

i once worked for a sign company in my old hometown of Bury St Edmunds, and we had to fit a fleet of lorrys out with vinyl signs at a meat factory, when we came in every day there were 3 vats full of cow eyes, it was summer and they were going off, and it stunk vile.
I asked an operative what this was waste,,the guy said no its goiing to be made into hot dogs. but i said it was off. It doesnt matter he said they have ways of sterelising it so its palatable. And thats for humans. What on Earth do they put in cheap pet food, yuk.
On a more grisly note, do you think maybe with cloning of human beings, of which i am in no doubt has already happened. do you think that these human clones in laboratorys, are used for experiments. We are all animals
and pigs suffer greatly in testing as they are the closest resemblance to us.

I pray not, but those that have no heart and test on animals, have no mutual respect for life, so why not. these subjects would never be seen by the human eye would they. they would make sure of that.

I do despair as just for the sakes of us beleiving we are creatures of vanity that millions of animal lives would be compromised for our looks, thoroughly disgusted, and shameful. Thats where science has no morals.
And profit over life is all to prominent in our lives. It needs to end.

the sooner the better!

I feed my cats Iams (sometimes Hills) and as I cannot bear to look at this link (I suffer from OCD and things stick in my head so ooking at awful images means days, weeks, months of 'seeing' these awful things) can someone just tell me (gently) what this is all about. Is it to do with what goes into the food (and if so does someone know of an acceptable alternative) or the methods in which the food is tested? Please.
