My friends and I have a Rainbow Bridge book that we put pictures in of animals that have crossed over and I find it a great comfort. If no-one minds I would like to start a Rainbow Bridge thread on here so we can all remember our beloved pets.
Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigour; and those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special who was left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; her eager body begins to quiver. Suddently she breaks from the group, flying over the green grass faster and faster. You have been spotted and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands caress her beloved head and you look one more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart. then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together..............

For ginger who was put to sleep on monday after surprising us all and living for over a year even though he was 19 and very poorly when he moved in from down the road. You will always be loved and missed and gave us many laughs and huge amounts of pleasure looking after you. I hope you are very happy in rainbow bridge and hope all our other much loved babies we have lost over the years are there to look after you.

my best friend Buster left me 2 yrs ago.i had him cremated,it was then i first saw rainbow bridge on display..i bought a copy then..he was with me for 15yrs..so this is for Buster and my other canine friends who have left..i'll see you all at rainbow bridge..one more thought... dog is mans best friend,so is it any surprise that dog spelt backwards spells god?

really nice poem.even though our friends may not be with us in body,they still walk with us as they did in life.2 of my friends came back to visit me,i can honestly say i never felt as loved and blessed as i did then..love and miss them all so much.

Mummy loves and missis you so much.
I try to remember all the good and funny times we shared and i hold onto them with such warmth.
I knew you would be taken from us but not one day goes by that i dont think about you.
We did what we thought was right in the end as we could not let you go on suffering.
That monster that used to rear it ugly head has now gone and you can now run and play as much as you like without suffering.
We all miss you.
You are still my North my South my East my West.
We will meet again, one day.

In memory of our beloved Pharaoh Hound 'Kairo' who went to Rainbow Bridge yesterday. We love you and miss you so much and although we are so grateful for the extra two years we had with you, we can't believe that you have now left us.

For my beautiful guinea-pig Joey (Jojo) aged 2 and a half, who pased away on Tuesday (while i was away on holiday 🙁 ).
Sorry i didnt get to say goodbye i hope you have found your way to rainbow bridge and are eating as much grass and cucumber as you can. Ben is missing you lots and sends lots of piggy squeaks & kisses. x x x x x
Also for my fish Marlin who passed away on Wednesday (also whilst i was away). You were the last fish out of them all so at least you wont be on your own anymore, i hope your happy in fishy heaven sorry i didnt get to say goodbye x x x x x

I have just found the Rainbow Bridge poem - it's beautiful. My gorgeous boy 'Brady' the bearded collie passed away last Thursday aged 13yrs.
He was my best friend, always at my side. He was 8 wks old when i had him and he was so gorgeous and fluffy. We had so many cuddles and played on the hills. I have so many lovely memories, you paddling in the water, running up onto the hills and greeting everyone that went passed.
Will miss you with all my heart and hope you having fun over in Rainbow Bridge my boyo. So be on your toes ready to pounce when it's my turn to go.

its been a few weeks now.my 15yr old white cat died of old age.her name was suki...i loved her so much..
she will probably be playing with her sisters on rainbow bridge.
fluff..milk[cos she loved milk]alfy.all passed at 15yrs old..i really miss them..

There are many, many friends I know are on the bridge, both animal and human. Just today, I think I want to write about my Dad. Whenever I have a deep problem or a piece of really good news I want to share it with him. So today, I hope he knows I am making another new start in life. He's on the bridge with his brother and their best friend, sitting on a seat under a large shady tree, just talking about the world..........

'Nibbles' and 'Biscuit' our hamsters who died last year.
For Andrew's cat 'Aimi' who died in 2003.

Aw man this thread is making me choke up. Animals have as much soul as you and I.
Big-up to George the doberman, who had to be put down due to illness. Wish I could have done some healing on him to help him get better. I hope he knows we tried our best to get him better. Hope we'll meet again sometime. Hope he is not in pain anymore.

Our beloved Arnie passed away in the early hours of this morning. He was one of the coolest cats in the world but always knew how to worry his mummy and daddy with various exploits and adventures.
We will miss you Arnie so much, you were the best boy - enjoy yourself at Rainbow Bridge; you are healthy and strong again now.

It's been 6 years since my beloved 9 year old rabbit crossed the rainbow bridge... I miss him so much, he's been with me ever since i was a lilben at 2, and grew up together till i was 10.
It was really sad seeing him go, i could'nt stop crying and was going through emotional pain! Till this day on he is still in my heart, never forgotten.
