I love all your baby pictures guys. Here's my little girl. We took her on from rescue in January after losing our other girl in November last year. Life is not the same without them is it............

She is gorgeous! Yes we do miss them when they are gone, but we are blessed for the time that we have them.

These are my two boxers the big one is 6 and the little one will be a year in September they are called Ike and Seamus.

This was to be our new kitty, but shes been quite poorley-so my mums
kept her. Didnt want our 2 dogs to stress her out.

RE: How to upload Pics

Hi fadette, and anyone else who can't get their pets up. Here is how to do it...

If your photo is large, go to and scale it down so it doesn't take ages to load on screen. You upload it to the site, resize it, then follow the link to download it back to your PC.

Then upload your resized image to somewhere such as and copy the URL link for that photo in your Photobucket album. Then in your HP post click the IMAGE button above, and paste the link in. So it should read something like

Preview your post to see if it worked.

This is a picture of my pet rabbit Gus. He is 12 weeks old and lives with us in the house. He is very naughty and likes to chew everything (especially my shoe laces!!!)

wow everyone seems to have pediree pets ...hmmm...

hi hoggies, I did it like this;- clicked on reply, then manage and add attachment, then in the box click to upload go to browse, upload the file and submit, I had to downsize my picz so I went to link;- as my files were too large and I downloaded them by 75%, if there's an easier way I'd really like to know, hope this has been of some help as I'm new to hp as well

ladykay: I confess not to know the technicalities of this picture-posting, but I understand that a picture host is required.

I did a search for some earlier instructions, which are copied here:

"When you have a picture you would like to upload on the open forum your next step is to first of all get a photo host. You can get a limited service like this for free from <a class="go2wpf-bbcode" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.photobucket.com.">www.photobucket.com.

Once you have registered with your photo host, upload your pictures from where you have saved it on your computer. In your album, under your pictures you will notice 4 different lines with different options to upload your pictures to forums like HP.

You should use the second line, which is your http (URL) address.
There are 2 methods:-
1. Picture appears via a clickable link.
Copy and paste the http address (from under your picture in the photo host) to the body of your message.
Example:
- there shouldn’t be any spaces…

If you click on preview under your message, then click on the link, you should now be able to see your picture before posting it to the forum…"

2. Pictures show directly in post.
Copy the http address (from under your picture in the photo host - second line), click on the INSERT IMAGE (envelope) icon (above the top right of the posting area), and paste the link into the prompt box which comes up (http:// etc ....). Then check preview where picture should be shown, before clicking on the post button.

N.B. IMPORTANT
If the picture is too large ( i.e. it bends the thread), then please cancel the post and re-size the picture first via photobucket's edit facility
or
via this site:
- 75% smaller usually works fine.

I will also flag up this post for confirmation (or not!) from the other moderators, who have more expertise than I in this area, but are not online at the moment.

Here, hopefully,is a picof my cat Sophi. She's 13yrs old, but is still so tiny and kittenish that nobody believes her age!

I've also added a pic of her and her brother Rupert, who was sadly killed about 2 years ago. He was beautiful ................. and we both still miss him.

Hi Hoggies and warm welcome to HP

There are 2 ways of uploading pictures.
1) as described by ladykay - directly from the pc and needs re-sizing of picture, as indicated
and
2) as described by Holistic, which requires a host site (I use photobucket which BTWis FREE) where the pictures can be held and downloaded from. This may require re-sizing via 'edit'.

Either method should work -I've tried them both, but if you do get stuck, just PM me and I'll try to help you.

This is Meankee, newest member, have two more cats...and two birds...and 1 dog....Meankee however, is the meanest kitten I have ever seen when it comes to picking on the older two cats...who like to lay around the house at night when I let them in cause they stay outside during the day. Meankee was born in May and given to me by a friend. He doesn't know what's coming next month that I'm taking him to the vets to get ha ha...fixed!
