And finally here is Muffin an9 year oldRag Doll. She was my mother's cat and is very persnickity. She will lick, lick, bite, bite. Not hard, but still people are terrified of her. She weighs in at about 12 lbs, where the Maine Coons are all around 16 (except Frankie who is thinner). Attached to Muffin is... ME! In my jammies :Don New Year's Eve I think...

This is me and my pet triceratops. He's called Gerald and he just luvs cuddling up next to me in the cave at night. We go out a huntin' together most days. He is 4 years old and full of life. We got him from a rescue shelter. He's very good at detering burglars and the postman seems to be scared for some reason. Can't work it out myself, I think Gerald's adorable 🙂

now then caveman, what is geralds fav food? how big is he, as its difficult to tell from yr picture! i am looking for another pet, did they have any more at this shelter?? very funny by the way:D

I looked at your other pix too and your babies are gorgeous!

In this group of photos he had climbed a trellis and was sitting in a flower pot which is about 6 feet off of the ground. 'sigh

😀 Willow loved doing things like that. And young Laurence looks like he'll be an intrepid handful too, he's already scaling the heights of tall doderey bookcases while I try and catch him with my heart pounding!

Thank you for the compliment about my adored feline keepers.You know the funny thing is, we didn't start out that way with pedigreed, mine were always rescued. My mom gave us Muffin so we didn't buy her at all. She is beautiful, if not in nature then in looks alone lmao.

But, what happened is that we found this gigantic breed and they are so sweet natured we justloved them and wanted more after our Al.

But... the story is that we were going to buy only one, and wanted a male.Cleo who we'd pickedturned out to be a girl soooo the breeder sent pics of the twins, Frankie and Myrrh. We loved the little girl already, thinking she was ours and all -- and couldn't split up the boys sooooo, we got 3 [:o]!!!

Everyone thinks we are just nuts. [sm=speechless-smiley-008.gif]But these kitties are our entertainment (their antics are too much -- who needs a telly?), and our most precious companions. They are my delight especially since I can't be near my children or grandkids.

Our poor Al had cancer so we had to put him to sleep. He was a fine monster, gentle and sweet. Best cat in the world was Al. I'll attach a pic of him when I can. Anyroad he's the reason we got more Maine Coons.

Oooo American Woman! Meant to say (forgive me I did already remember) but have you seen the pix of my little Willow who died last year? HP were a wonderful support through her illness, death and then when we gave a home to Laurence and Eliza shortly afterwards.

It might make sad reading, so make sure you have a box of tissues or scroll through for Willow pix. I would post them here, but I think this thread is for pets that are still here (please tell me if I've got that wrong as I'd love to pop Will's pix here with evryone else)

Oh Nicky! You won't believe this but she and Al could've been brother and sister. I have to find his picture digitally, you won't believe it. My gosh -- your story broke my heart. So much like mine, and we are so much the same with our feline-extended family. They are beings to me too, not pets. My throat is all tight trying not to bawl like a baby. I'll tell Al's story on your thread when I can find his picture. Thanks for sharing Nicky. I knew it had to be best for Al too, he was so thin. He weighed only 6 or 7 pounds when we put him to sleep.

Hiya everyone! 😀

We are now proud owners of a 10 week old Black Labrador 😀
We were thinking about getting a collie, but decided a Lab would be better for young kids.
Anyway, he is big for his age (10 kg) & here's a coupla pics:D
His name is Bonkas (as in Bonkers but spelt differently - it was my partner's idea *lol* & the kids fell in love with the name, so it's justkinda stuck!)

Anyway, just wanted to share 😀

He is isn't he! I've been trying to house-train him the last 2 days since we got him - he is picking it up pretty fast which I am surprised about! He now understands "Sit" & he is starting to get the hang of "stay". Maybe I'm trying too much too soon with him but he's just so cute I can't help myself! We are going to give him his first bath here tonight 😀 Will be sure to take lots of pictures 😀

She is three years old and her name is Selina, she already enjoys riding and playing with the ponies. That pony, Toby is really sweet and very kind.

I LOVE the colour of Pixie's coat. It's beautiful!

My cousins had horses when I was little and we would go and "ride" them. I was only about three or four. I thought the horses were HUGE, until years later, I saw photos, and to me at the time they were huge, big as shire horses, but actually, in reality, they were ponies, and very very wee ones at that 😀

These are all such nice pictures of everyone's loves. The horses are gorgeous, the doggies adorable, kitties well, you know how I am by now with them...

And I've posted chickens somewhere. I love them too; )

I come in here to get recharged and happy by looking at these pictures. What a nice thread.
