I was just having dinner when the little fella ran across the floor.:eek::eek::eek: I suppose they are coming indoors now cos the weather has turned cold.:mad: I haven't seen a black one before, but it was definitely a mouse. :p:p

So the problem is now how to get rid of it or them before they start multiplying.????? Please help. I really don't like 'em and am feeling very unsettled now.:dft008:

Just needed to relate our night of horror!

The mouse has taken up residence in our bedroom, and all night was whizzing around the room, chewing, snuffling, scampering all over everything! And this despite the fact that we had no less than six baited traps spread along the edge of the walls. Never touched a one!

We'd turn the light on and look for him, but of course nothing. The instant the light went off he'd be back doing whatever it was he's doing. At about three in the morning I jumped as one of the snap traps went off, but no mouse. Honestly I don't think he was even trying to go for the biscuit, he probably just ran over the useless thing. The worst was when he'd get crawling around under the bed. Aiieee! 😮 This creature needs to expire.

What is going on with this mouse? I'm actually starting to be afraid, he's got some sort of super-mousian intelligence going on. On another note, though the glue traps didn't catch the mouse my husband managed to get stuck several times. So ladies, if you're looking for a man there's a tip for you! 😉

Off to B&Q today to buy whatever I can, and if I pass a cat on the way home I'm grabbing it! The saga continues...

I have a cat who keeps bringing live mice into the house and letting them go!!! Useless animal - and it's also lightning at catching and killing our little birdies, eating them in the house leaving feathers all over - makes me fume . Anyone want a cat? It's a beautiful grey moggy-type, eats only dry food, is housetrained (thank goodness).

We use a trap from which is plastic and has a little cup for the peanutbutter, cheese, chocolate and is ferocious - there's no way anything could take the bait without it going off. Got it from a local store. Failing that you could always call out pest control from the local council.

Good luck with catching your little pest!
