😮 Had to share this with you incase you haven't already heard.

Call me soft but I really hate daddy longlegs with a passion. I cannot stay in a room where there is one flying around. It was awful when we used to go camping, I've dived out of the tent half naked before now because one of those things had got inside!

I'm not too fond of daddy longlegs either but I can cope with those.

Spiders on the other hand..... :eeeK: I got goose bumps just from seeing the picture in that article!

Scream!!!!

You could have said it was a spider, I don't like those huge spiders, have had at least 3 in my house in the last few weeks. Yuk!

As for daddy long legs; strangely enough I don't mind them at all.

I said to my neighbour the other day that I thought we had more this year. Everywhere in the garden are webs, they come in the house and are horrible! 😮 When I open my backdoor I check to see where any new ones are. One had woven a web from the back fence, across the path to a large tub. It meant I couldn't use my back gate! As for watering the garden I have to look to see if one is across the fence to my whirlygig (clothes line), sometimes there is one on both sides. Yuk!

there's currently an influx of those horrible fat bellied brown spiders here, there and everywhere in Kent. Their webs are huge too , but at least they are catching all them pesky bluebottles 😀

However, if one decided to take up residence in my house, i would ship out like a shot as spiders with big bellies scare me silly!

a spider has taken up camp in my shed at the moment it has a massive web across the door, it is not causing any problems at the moment so will not panic. but daddy long legs, the first night angel and i were at college on level one counseling skills the window was open and as it got dark outside about a dozen of these flew in we were in hysterics the following week the tutor kept the window shut but did not offer us counseling. we were quite traumatized by it.

Spiders are nice little people on the whole and open to reason if you talk to them ... really! 🙂

Daddy longlegs drive me mad ... no brains, minimal eyesight it seems, and a regrettable habit of flying into my hair or down the paper holder of my printer. The next time I print off a document, the paper comes out with dead legs stuck to it ... yuk! 🙁

Keeping the corner of the room nearest the window well cobwebby helps. They fall into it, get stuck, and provide a tasty dinner for Mr or Mrs Spider 😉 😀
