Hello all

There are alot of foxes out there that are currently with mange and as some of you might know, during the cubbing season it is contraindicated to give the foxes the orthodox medical treatment for mange.

However! An alternative homeopathic treatment is available - if you search on google, you can find these treatments being sold in a bottle costing between £6 and £10 which should treat one fox for 4 - 6 weeks.

Just thought I would share! (I was wondering if there was an aromatherapy version available.. until the image of giving a fox an aromatherapy massage reduced me to fits of giggles and I realised I should just stop right there..:D)

Sounds great but how on earth do you give it them?

You could leave them some cat food with the remedy in it. Fox mange is a mite and it's just horrendously itchy poor little fellows.

Yep, Sue is right.. one of the suggestions out there is putting it in jam sandwiches... I would have thought dog or cat food would be better.. but not being a fox, I wouldn't know!!
