Letters to Strongheart

I was clearing out my bookcase today and came across this wonderful book which was a sequel to the ""Kinship with all Life" by J. Allen Boone. which I talked about on an "old" book review forum. Strongheart was an Alsation - one of the most famous movie stars ever in Hollywood in the 50's. Boone was asked to look after him and read good literature to him every day and this dog totally changed his life and taught him so much and then the author went on to communicate with other animals, reptiles and insects.

"Letters to Strongheart" are a series of letters written to the dog, from the author's heart after Strongheart had died. Boone went up to the mountains, in the Mojave Desert and on a world cruise to think about Strongheart and had many adventures along the way with animals, repltiles and humans. He talks deeply to Strongheart about life and spirituality.

The reason I'm writing this is that I thought if it just went to Oxfam, it might not be really appreciated, while I know there are dozens of you here (perhaps someone who has recently lost their pet) who will be comforted and inspired by this book.
