My brother is just back from Kalkan in Turkey and he bought me a postcard and a notebook, the proceeds from which go to helping the street cats of Kalkan.
They are reportedly well looked after and tame, I did a search and couldnt find a great deal of info but there are charities who go into Kalkan and help neuter and feed the cats and dogs as well.
I am trying to find a charity who deals with donations to this cause specifically so if anyone finds a link before I do, maybe they could PM me with it.

We visted Kalkan many years ago and remember the cats well!
I beleive the charity you are looking for is called
FETHÝYE HAYVAN DOSTLARI DERNEÐÝ - Fethiye Friends of Animals Association.

They have a mobile clinic which visits Kalkan and surrounding areas tending to stray dogs and cats.

Thank you, there is another charity I found online who does work in Kalkan but I wanted one who just helped with the cats as their main focus so I could make a donation.
