I was fascinated by this so googled 'black squirrels' and came up with this:
which is a year old. There's also a link to a Daily Mail story from this year which has very good photos but - silly me - I couldn't bring myself to post a link to the DM. Anyway it would seem that there's a black squirrel on its way to all our back gardens in the not too distant future!:cool:

Thanks for posting the article Sunada! It certainly was impressive seeing a Black Squirrel, I just paused for a few moments and stared. lol wish I had a camera on me at the time because I haven't seen it since 🙁
I hope the Red squirrels will be okay in the coming years too many non-native greys and now black squirrels!
