I hope nobody minds me re-posting this but i had only posted it on the old HP the other day...so hoped maybe more people would read it here and be able to help 🙂
As most people know Bella (my maltese) was born with a heart murmur and given only a few weeks to live, she proved us all wrong and is doing really well:D however she is very small for her age and the vet is slightly concerned about her this winter. It does get quite cold in scotland, esp north west, so he told me to buy her some jumpers and a winter coat!!!
However living where we are its mostly still working collies/sheep dogs so funnily enough theres not a great demand on dog apparel! lol[sm=rollaugh.gif][sm=rollaugh.gif]
I have looked online and found some amazing sites, (with gorgeous stuff!) but they are all american based and cost a fortune to ship over here!! Would anyone have a pampered pooch and know an online store in the UK selling coats and jumpers for dogs?[sm=idea.gif]

I'm sure that there must be a lot of grannies with excellent knitting & crocheting skills living in your neighbourhood, who'd be delighted to earn a little extra cash making these little 'winter warmers'. Also search for appropriate 'patterns' via the net - incl. those in fabric ie. tartan with a polarfleece lining or only using anti-pil polarfleece 😀 Why not put a little ad up somewhere and who knows, you could just have another couple of items to add to your GREETINGS CARD website. Hey! How's that going by the way?
Did I tell you that my neighbour's Maltese died recently at the RIPE OLD AGE of either 21 or 25yrs!!!! Incredible hey? She passed within days of my neighbour's daughter's little Maltese 'son' that was much younger [&:] almost as tho' it was necessary for her to go 'over' and keep him company 😀 until his 'Mom' finally joins him one day.

Lovely to hear from you, I have asked around but sadly not had much luck.
However my aunty has offered to 'give it a go' lol [sm=1syellow1.gif]Now i have to find size 5 and 7 knitting needles online and some suitable wool.......after 3 weeks of searching i only found a pattern last night![:@]
The knitting needles and wool seems to be really hard to find on UK sites...1000s on america of course![>:]
If anyone know of any good sites where i could buy some id ber very greatful🙂
Greeting cards are on hold for now......buying the material is so awfully expensive along with the web site i just wasn't brining in enough to cover myself![sm=mecry.gif] Though, saying that i do have quite a few larger orders for christmas! [sm=1syellow1.gif]- Hopefully next year will get up and running again....just now is okay with working at the nursery anyway but the extra money would be good, plus i also enjoy it.
Awww your poor neighbour,[&o] what a shame. But what an amazingly long life the little maltese had!! :)- Your neighbour must be finding it hard, our pets become out children, i dont know what id do now without bella![sm=smlove2.gif]

I have found two distributors in the uk for you, whether they will have anything you want, I don't know, but they may be able to direct you somewhere else if they have't got what you want.

Has Bella manged to find some nice warm coats or jumpers yet.
She looks like a little teddy she is so adorable. I think she`ll look fetching in a baby jumper.;)

Been looking for little jumpers for her , problem is they are all too big for her!!
Shes only 4lb 4 lol - I got one dog jumper sixe small..... it came today...but is far too big for her!!![:@] Typical lol

Just to let you know i managed to find a wee jumper and coat for Bella online, and hope it should be here at the weekend. The coat is not really what i was after but i think it will do the trick, however if anyone finds anymore would still be greatful if you could let me know 😀
