Hello,

I resently moved out of my parents home and in to a flat with my boyfirend. Consiquently I had to leave behind my 2 cats, I miss them dearly everyday and only get to see them once or twice a month due to distance. 🙁

We have been toying with the idea of getting a cat for a while now, however we live in a flat. Is it cruel to keep a cat in a flat? We do live on a busy road so there is no possiblity of it going outside. Baring in mind that the flat accomodation is short tearm while we save for a house.

I know this may sound strange but I miss having a cat around to care fo and it really gets to me downat times.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks

J

RE: Cats in Flats

Hi Jasper,
Oooh……..only one day to go!

And two! Oh…double the fun!

We had two kittens together the last time, and it really helped when I had to leave them in whilst I went shopping. I used to come back and find them curled up together…and they looked so cute. [sm=love-smiley-009.gif]

Oh, I do hope you all have a lovely lovely time….

Love from Flit

RE: Cats in Flats

My two cats started out in a flat in London. It suited them as they are the cuddly content kind. We then moved to a house in the country and of course let them out, but they do tend to stay in the house most of the day, but they are about 14 years old now. Some cats are lazier than others, just like people they all have their own personalities.

One of my cats gets long claws, which catch on our carpets. Fortunately she is so docile that she will let me clip a little off the end with nail clippers, just to help her out.
