Not sure what's been happening. I stupidly left the back bedroom door ajar when I went out this morning. Both cats came downstairs to see me when I came home, both ate and Pip went out. Merry is stretched out on my bed (on her blanket) and seems fine. What I discovered on sitting at the computer is a fine spray of blood on the screen but mostly on the white wall by the printer. Haven't found a body, yet! Cats seem ok so have to assume that they brought home a present or an early lunch! Please don't let there be something hiding in here, it's a bit of a junk room, hate to think something is suffering.

If it's nything like ours, whatever it was has been eaten! Keep an eye open for the possible head or tail! - ugh 😮 - we often get a present on the doorstep, but I must admit less often than we did!

😀 Sorry to laugh, we had a little girl who was an absolute a minx.
We never knew what she would bring home next.

I did put in a request for her to bring home a sports car but she never did!! 😀

Most heartbreaking was the poor baby birds she killed. 🙁

I often get blue tits half alive, flailing about in the hallway, and I have to try and rescue them , which I don't think I do very successfully. It's horrible!

One night recently, one of the cats brought in a bird into the bedroom, and it was TOTALLY ALIVE and under the bed it started flapping around in a state, and it was the most terrifying experience. I'm not sure who was more freaked out, me or the poor bird! Anyway, it flew away unharmed (i think) out the front door eventually.

But we love our cats don't we in spite of the horrors that they can be! :cat:
