Yes, I am very interested in AC and healing and have had some wonderful experiences with it. Have you read Amelia Kinkades - 'Straight from the horses mouth'? It is a brilliant book and gives you some simple exercises you can try. If you havent got a copy I'll try and grab some text from it tonight for you.

Whereabouts are you? I know a few people that run AC courses so might be able to point you in the direction of one of them.

Apache and Stormdeva may also have some pointers for you also.

I live in runcorn in cheshire. The course I am trying to book is in LLangollen in wales, and is run by a guy called James who is also a reiki master. I cant remember his second name!!! I am waiting for a reply about a booking.

I don't work at the moment so I am not able to pay anyone to do communications for me, but If someone was willing to just talk to me about it, I would be so grateful!

I will try to get in touch with the other members and ask them if they can help me.

So how are you doing with AC? Are you able to do it? Isn't it just the most amazing thing!!!? I would give my right (tiger)eye to be able to do it!!!!LOL

I'll keep my eye out for you, I've got a feeling that there is something in Lancashire happening soon (is that too far away from you?), I'll see if I can dig something out.

I'm only beginning on my AC path, I've done a course with a lady called Wynter which was brilliant. It opened my eyes so much. I do try and get pictures/words that come into my head but I think the whole subject is very much about confidence and faith in yourself.

Anyone can communicate with animals, its just takes alot of concentration and practice 😉

Which books have you read so far?

Gosh, I forget the authors...I think one book was animal talk by penny smith, the other one was What Cats Want, and I am currently reading a book by Jan Fennell "The practical dog listener"...i think she works with horses as well. There was another one too, but I can;t remember off the top of my head...will have to look in the library again!
I am also reading "Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul" by Jack Canfield,mark Victor hansen,marty becker and carol kline. I've just started it and already my heart is bursting with love for all our animal friends!!

Um, Lancashire isn;t that far away really, definitely within train distance anyway!

I think people are really lucky if they can even get words and pictures!! It's definitely about having confidence in yourself!! Not sure my self-confidence is that brilliant yet, but I do know that me and Smudge (my cat) communicate more in physical ways. She winks and I even tried to get her to tap her tail for yes/no, which worked for a bit, but then I think she got fed up and was messing around!!LOL

Well what can I tell you...I am learning to become an Animal communicater and have a wonderful horse by the name of Kite (Doogles baby) that is helping me...he is very good at listening to conversations and butting in also...but I don't think he sees it like that...he figures he's helping me...and I guess in a way he is....we (Kite) & I have not done much work together just recently as he is allowing me time to 'heal' and I am sure he will let me know, when it's time to start again (give him a huge hug for me J).
And as you have seen from my web site I work alot with horses and would very much like to expand this work and shall do very soon.

So how can I help you...ask away, if I can answer I shall and if anyone else can help I know they will join in also...feel free to post here or PM me if you like

glad to see you feel better, did you get some rest yesterday, you sounded like you needed it. Are you unwell as you mentioned needing time to heal?

Cor blimey i wish i could talk to my cat!! I had her back at the vets today as she has been sneezing for 2 weeks now, and she has had antibiotic and steroid injections to see if that helps. They are talking about putting her under anaesthetic to see if they can have a look in her nose for pollen or grass seed or something....it;s just that she is 16 and is not a very hospitable cat with strangers (and vets LOL), I am worried that she may not be strong enough to recover from the anaesthetic....oh i don;t want to even go there!!!!

I wish she could tell me what was wrong and whether she needs the op or not, I have big issues when it comes to animal healing. i know animals are good at healing themselves and often we just interfere by sending them to the vets....but at the same time, i don't want my little baba to suffer and perhaps it's the only way to get things sorted.....

Is there anything you can suggest that I can do to get a clearer idea of what's going on with her?

I know the feeling...we have a cat and a dog and I must admit I cannot communicate with either of them...to close I think[&:]
I really can't make any suggestions regarding your cat...(not being a vet ) other than talk to her...tell her what is happening...you may not think it...but she will understand every word you tell her, and she will pick up on your fears...so it's into 'positive' thinking mode...(not always easy I know).

I have to use a photograph when I try to link into an animal its my aid to quitening my mind...maybe you could have a go to see if you can communicate with her...do you have a picture...I know shes there...but you could go somewhere comfortable with the photo ....totally relax and clear your mind, and accept what is 'given' to you...in whatever form, thats the hardest bit...trusting yourself/what you are given...no room for logic when your doing this!

actually, she was ill recently she was in the animal hospital for a week, as she wouldn;t eat or drink for some reason. The vet thought she had an infection, and possible diabetes. I was so gutted!! I think I made things worse for her because I was so worried about her I used to cry and ask her to be alright...NO PRESSURE THERE THEN!!!!!!

anyway,she went in and everyday we rang and they said she is on a drip cos she still not eating or drinking (not even tuna - her fave!) So I had just done reiki1 the week before. I didn;t have any of the symbols yet, but I still decided to look on the 'net on how to do distance healing. i used the "law of representation" principle and asked the universe to send healing to her via her photo.
i wrote a note in my journal for her, asking her to forgive me for being so upset, and that If it was her time to go i would accept it-i would be upset, but it would be ok for her to go as i knew she would be in spirit and still come to visit me. I also have a small black and white toy cat that I always take on holiday with me so I can feel i am still with her (yes I am 30 this year - a big kid!!!LOL:D), and I slept, holding onto that toy for about 3 nights.
eventually she made a full recovery, had no signs of diabetes, and had lost loads of weight, which was of benefit to her as she was sooooo big before!!

I know that I can use my intentions to give her energy when she needs it, and she really does respond when I tell her I love her...It's just a pain in the a**e that I can;t ask her what's up in the first place, hee hee hee!!;)

it would certainly save on the vets bills!!!!;)

BTW she beautiful and reminds me of my cat Pepsi

As far as Reiki is concerned you do not need the symbols to send Smudge healing...'intent' is the most important thing...so you just go straight on in there and send her as much healing as you wish:)

Sorry just thing this thread, there was an a/c course in lancashire this weekend, will check out the one in Llangollen though.

Echo what the others have said, the Amelia Kincade book is an excellent starting point and if you check her website you will see she is doing 3 courses in the UK next month, one in the South somewhere (sorry poss Kent?) Manchester, and Glasgow.

Also, just to backup what Stormdeva has said, intent is definately the key to sending healing. Just ask that the energy goes to the highest good of Smudge and it will then go where needed.

hello everyone!!

just a quick update, my little Smudgie doesn;t seem to ber herself at the moment, but I am not sure.. Sometimes when I look at her I get a feeling of being "fed up" and "sad", and other times I feel lots of love,especially when i am saying it to her.
She is sleeping a lot, even while she is outside. sh hasn;t been an active cat for years, but I am still a bit bothered about these feelings I am getting.

i don't know whether it is my own worries about her or not. i even asked her today if I should take her to the vet and I wasn;t sure of the reaction, so I am not taking her just yet, in case it upsets her.

i know I keep asking but if anyone can let me know if I am correct in my feelings, can you let me know? She is my one true rock at the moment in my life and I would be devastated if i was causing more harm than good by avoiding the vets, just because she doesn;t like it!![sm=cry.gif][&:]:(

sorry to go on...........i just really love that cat!!

WOW! I have just seen this thread, this is all very interesting, i often feel what my dog is thinking, does anyone know anything about communicating with wild native animals and birds that is something that would be very interesting to learn.

I feel that the answer to that one is...that as 'your' animal communication skills increase 'you' would certainly be able to communicate with wild animals...the trick there is of course 'to trust' what you are given and to never to put yourself into danger

hiya everyone!!

just got back from a weekend in London with my mum, brother and the charity PHAB, we walked the heartbeat hike in Hyde park yesterday!!!

I just wanted to mention that I felt the animals there were so happy!!! As we were walking around, we saw lots of wildlife, especially pidgeons and squirrels, and they ALL seemd really happy to be out in the sunshine and gentle breeze!!
The day before we were invited to the ranger's lodge to have tea with the chief executive of the Royal parks, and his wife...they were so kind to us and even came along to the theatre with us....anyway, as they live in the park, we walked throught the grounds of the lodge and I felt so "zingy" and alive and full of energy!!! I felt like it was the vibration around us, like all the plants and trees and the lovely birds and other animals were excited!!! Does this sound silly????? I just felt invigorated and watching the birds was so delightful!!!!
I wanted to go over and sit with them, but our itinerary was too tight..a shame!!

I can only hope and pray for the day when I am able to tap into the consciousness of animals and "speak" to them.....it is like a dream come true for me!!!

Sounds like an amazing day tiger, no it doesnt sound silly at all. It actually sounds as though you are beginning to 'tap' into the energy that animals use and share so its the first step in your journey 🙂

just thought I would update you on the course I went on today! It was at Adlington Equestrian Centre near stockport, and was organised by Wends here on HP. It was presented by Amelia Kinkade.

It was a cold day ( i KNEW i should have brought a coat!!!!) and it was quite difficult to concentrate, but the animals there made our work easy...they were very kind, communicative and so friendly!!!

Wendy and her sister brought in their horses, a mare and a foal...oh my gosh they were soooooooooooo beautiful. [sm=hug.gif] The mare kept looking at me, well I thought it looked like that anyway!! it did get emotional at one point but it was important to receive the information and the horses (foal especially) appreciated what was happening.

There were 2 dogs and a cat also...all of the animals were wonderful and communicative, and funny!!

The people on this course were so friendly, and were very aware of the messages coming through...i think everyone got something out of the day which was brilliant.
Amelia Kinkade was a wonderful teacher today...she even said I was "one of her's" meaning she has worked with me many times before in the past (lives). She was so kind to me, she gave me a little green squirty frog which she says she gives out to a person who has done so well on the day....I was chuffed and humbled at the same time..I kind of wanted to shout it from the rooftops like I was "a chosen one"!!!! hee hee but I don;t like to get a big head!!! After all it is the animals' choice to communicate with us..I just decided to open my heart and hear them for a change...YES i really do want to be Dr Doolittle!!!!!

I am very happy to say that I really felt the information coming through...some of it was a little sketchy but other bits were clear as a bell!!! Especially the bit about the foal jumping and splashing in puddles!!!! That was my favourite bit...it made me laugh and the horse seemed to be having so much fun in the image - she was laughing and that made me so happy!!!

Oh I can't describe how this day made me feel...i have never felt so, well, special I guess. It was like I was so priviledged to be witnessing this phenomenon. I am now amazed at how we sometimes take our animal friends for granted and just look at things from a human perspective. It has opened my heart to how easy it is to speak to animals...IF WE WOULD ONLY JUST QUIET DOWN AND LISTEN!!!!!!!! It truly is amazing what you get coming through.

For the first time, I heard my cat call me MUM!!!!!!!! We were talking about fish as I was driving home. She was fed up with her usual "grub" (her words LOL) and wanted some interesting fish!!! It was so funny....here I am doing 70mph on the motorway and thinking I must get home to rinse the tomato sauce off the sardines for the cat, and she is going "hurry up mum!!!" She seems a lot younger to me, I almost hear a child's voice which is strange because I only ever used to get "old" feelings from her!! A colleague on the course told me she said she was 12 years old (she's really 16) so perhaps she was trying to get across that she feels younger than she really is! I was also told that I don't listen to her and have previously blocked the communication process with my own thoughts and stuff....I literally didn;t shut up enough to hear her....well that is all going to change from now on!

If anyone would like me to try to read their animal friends, then please e-mail me a picture and I will try to connect with them. I am eager to practice with this new skill.

Perhaps if anyone else has any stories to tell...I would love to hear them here, and if anyone wants to discuss anything privately then you can PM me if you want...I just love talking about animals!!!!

thank you for letting me get this out...it is so overwhelming and wonderful at the same time...I feel so grateful and thankful to spirit and the Universe for letting me have this amazing experience.

Wish I could understand what my little girl is saying to me ... I feel that she is upset because she's so nervous and scared of strangers. I have actually arranged for a lady to visit me and Mietze [sm=cat.gif] to carry out Reiki on her on Saturday, so fingers crossed.

But, if I could forward a picture of her to you, it would be amazing if you could shed some light on "her".
