Hi all please can you send me your prayers and healing. I have been suffering an infection from a broken tooth since last Saturday, but really it has been troubling me for a good few months now. I had a big hole in my tooth after the dentist put a temp filling which cracked, she refused to patch it up unless I agreed to have it extracted or referred to a specialist (I am now going to pay £575 for!). It is no wonder I have an infection now.
I have had one attempt at root canal treatment and my local dentist couldn't find all the roots causing the pain, so I opted for a referral to a specialist, as I would like to try to save my tooth. I waited 2 months as the local dentist got my address wrong, however i should have chased it up sooner. Partially didn't because of the cost, and now I am paying the price! I had to see an emergency dentist on the weekend and was prescribed antibiotics. My cheek, jaw and neck also hurt and there is a noticeable swelling on my neck. I went to A&E last night as I was worried about having difficulty swallowing and the swelling on my neck. It has now been 48 hours since I started taking the course of antibiotics, it is going down a bit but I have been advised that it takes 48 hours or more to work. It seems a bit easier to swallow now and I have been taking paracetamol and codeine for the pain. I also rinse with warm salt water.
I am due to have my root canal treatment this Friday at 1.30. Please send me all your healing I have been in such pain and very scared. Luckily the doctor at A&E said I should be on the mend very soon. I am determined to get better and pray that my treatment is successful and the infection goes down before Friday. I seem to have a weak immune system as I have been in A&E a few times since 2011 for allergic reactions and this latest incident.

Thank you
Cheryl xx

Hi Cheryl,

Oooo, toothy infection problems... not nice, and certainly painful.

I'm sure however that you'll be fine once they sort out the root canal, though of course it'll take a while for the pain and soreness to fully subside.

I'll be happy to send some Reiki.

All Love and Reiki Hugs

Sorry to hear about all that, Cheryl.

Good luck for Friday. Don't worry, you'll be fine. Stay strong.

Love, Light and Healing to you. I know what it feels like 🙁 - I had one in May! It's fine now, thank goodness but it did make me feel 'off' for a week or two. Once the antibiotics did their work it was much better - and an infection like this will have killed off the root so the root canal work should be just fine.

All the best 😀
