I thought this quiz may be of benefit to those currently studying A&P, those with an interest and those of us that need to keep our knowledge fresh.
OK, this is how it works. Working through the alphabet, name anything pertaining to A&P also name the system it can be found in (and a rough location in the body).
Oh, and you can write a basic summary of its function too, but only if you like?:)

Aortic Semilunar Valve
Circulatory system (Heart)
[Pressure from blood filling the left ventricle causes the ASV to open letting re-oxygenated blood through into the ascending aorta, pressure then drops very quickly causing the valve to close, preventing flow back and allowing pressure to build again.
Interesting fact: It is the action of this valve closing that is ‘part’ of the second beat in your heart beat.]
