In case you haven't seen them yet, here's HRH on YouTube, adding his voice to the call to save the rainforests in order to save the world.

(this is a beautiful video of the Amazon)

- after Charles' speech, there's a whole host of celebs plus the Dalai Lama and Kermit, with the frog!

One of the easiest ways to save the rainforest is to stop eating meat.
Every year millions of acres get destroyed to make way to grow feed for farmed animals used for the meat trade. It is such a highly wasteful dietry choice.

Good news everyone! I've figured out a way to use two different watch / unwatched overlays so now I can add them to the text-based lists. Update soon!

A belated reply to the original post, I know, but this news is surely never out of date:

Olivia Newton John and her husband John Easterling (CEO & Founder of Amazon Herb Co in USA) - both of whom are avid supporters of the Rainforest SOS project - are now working hard to provide natural organic skincare alternatives based around sustainable products from the Amazon Rainforest - including a sustainable harvest of the camu camu fruit. Using this fruit (with a very high Vitamin C antioxidant content - which gives superior skincare results) not only helps to keep the rainforest more valuable alive than dead (which is their company's sole mission!) but also helps ACEER (the Amazon Centre for Education and Environmental Research) and supports the indigenous population to keep their land and earn a living! Take a look for details:
