Why is that some so called spiritual people can't communicate in a respectful manner.
A topic has been recently closed because of disrespect by one of the posters.
This particular topic could have been quite interesting as there must be others like me who are prepared to listen to others points of view. Some people are quite set in their beliefs, and that is fair enough, but that does not give them the right to dismiss out of hand other peoples ideas, let alone become abusive.
There is a good reason why religion and politics are topics which can inflame passions. Logic has NOTHING to do with peoples attitudes - but many people will insist on trying to use logical to convert others to THEIR view.
If you think debates on here can be heated - just mention homeopathy on a pharmacist forum....'.light blue touch paper 'doesn't come close.
Expressing a contrary view can feel like an attack on a cherished belief.......and the best method of defence is attack. Such people are being human - and we are all guilty of that at times
[COLOR="Green"]Tashanie - in this case I meant inflammatory as in provocative. This person was clearly not respectful of the subject matter at all, (as EnergyIz also observes). This can be clearly seen from his last posts.
