Log-in connection keeps dropping out

My log-in doesn't last any more either, I think that's since the recent website/login changes. Would be handy if the "remember me" thingy worked again!

The same thing has been happening to me.

I had this problem a couple of weeks back and I couldn't get in for a couple of days.

I think Mike is in the process of trying to sort things out, so please be patient.

Yes, we are in the process of trying to sort this issue out...

it would be really helpful for all your feedback on this...

we made some changes today and hopefully this should have fixed it...

next time you login can you login here and make sure you put a tick in the "sign me in automatically" box

and let me know if it keeps you logged in... remember for this to work you must not click the "logout" link

Nope, still not working properly.
Not as bad as when I just couldn't get logged in, but still getting logged out.

Ok, so here's how it goes...

I was logged in and I selected the option to sign me in automatically (which is what I usually have anyway) and I didn't choose to logout.

I then closed my browser and re-opened it.

I came to [url]Healthypages Discussion Forums - Powered by vBulletin[/url] and at first glance I appeared to be logged in as the top of the page showed "Welcome, Energylz".

I then came to this thread (within the same session) and I then appeared logged out and had to re-enter my login details again at the top to get myself logged in.

Something's broke. 😮

It's back to normal for me.

Well, been here just over 2 hours, on and off - not logged out at all - and this is the 3rd time I have had to log in. Clicking the quote button caused it last time. Aggravating!!

The log in is dropping. I have logged in about 10 times today. If I click reply' quote or today's posts it drops again.
Norrmally I am always logged in whenever I visit the forums, but for some reason today it just doesn't stay logged in and it does not want to "remember me" either

same thing happeniong to me for the last few days, have to log in everytime even though I am clicking on remember me

Still happened to me Mike though it's not as frequent as CarolineN is having.

I came to my computer, clicked on my favourite link to bring me to the HP forums, which showed me as logged in. Then the first thread I clicked on, it came up showing me as logged out and I had to log in again. Now I'm logged in, it's staying logged in, but I know it won't if I close the browser and re-open it... the same will happen again.

Same thing is happening to Paul and I as the others above, fortunately Paul didn't lose his post but we are having to repeatedly log in.

same problems here, started a couple of days ago and still happens now, i first appear logged in but as soon as i do anything i get logged out and have to re sign in:(

I can't test it from work Mike as our "new" secure internet connection method automatically removes anything that would keep me logged in anyway (when I close the browser that is, not during the session). If I get a chance I'll test when I get home.

I have just logged on, clicked remember me, gone off site and was still logged in when I returned 🙂

So far so good!

Yes its because we are currently working on the hp directory, the forum and directory shares some files and thus it was giving the errors. This should not happen now..
