is it cool to mention my own music!!!!! I have recently joined the forum. I used to be a record producer/songwriter and for the last 10 years have been helping people to achieve their dreams in life (intuitively). I also love writing and recording music for relaxation and meditation which I've got back into a lot in the last three years - and some of it you can hear (all free of course!) up on the web at [DLMURL] http://www.soundclick.com/pro/?BandID=163744 [/DLMURL].
The first track there is a new collaboration I have done with Canadian guitarist Evan Paul Kozaris called Tears for Madrid. As you scroll down the page you will also find that tracks off my 'Flight of Freedom' Album are specifically written and produced to enable the listener to reach a relaxed state quickly and easily, simply using constant tempos (all around or just above heartbeat) and transitions from minor key which brings the listener inside to major key which enables the listener to open up once inside. (there are also some vocal tracks there and a couple of jazzier toons, please feel free to ignore them!)
Hope this is of interest...
I am always on the lookout for some nice relaxing music, I can also recommend the Bliss -100,000 Angels CD. its very good

thanks lindilou...nice to meet you..
I also love Hundred Thousand Angels by Bliss. The first time I heard the title track I 'saw' an image of me singing that as a lullaby to my future grandchildren and it made very emotional. In fact for the first few times I couldn't hear it without crying!!!

Hi Sweeper,
Many thanks for the links. I have just listened to two and they are brilliant. The first was the one you co-wrote and I found that very moving. I had a listen to the synthetic music track and really liked that too, I shall be 'tuning' in again!!
Welcome to HP and good luck from me to for your future plans,

thanks for the feedback reikiangel - really appreciate it. the collaboration with Evan Paul which we have only just finished was great to do - the flight of freedom album is my current cd which found its way to Lynne Robinson (of Pilates fame!!) who has been championing it for body movement therapy and relaxation work which has been great. Music is such a healer - I feel blessed to be a part of it.
RE: Recommended music

RE: Recommended music
I would recommend Buddhist chants and peace music - music for reflections and relaxation from the far east. Hanshaw Temple and Bow to Avaloxites Vara Bodhisathva - Aifa Publishing Company Limited. Just put the Publishing Company into search and all the details will come up. Anasthesia

I have just got Sweepers CD and it is fantastic, highly recommended. Well done Sweeper.
I also love folk especially Celtic music and have some chillout albums of them.
I have lovely memories of a barn in Brittany and a ban called 'Band sans gain' playing but stupidly din't get a CD. The young people were all doing very energetic Breton dances.

hi jan - glad you like it:D - it was quite a journey making the flight of freedom album - I'm now stuck into creating a chill cd and have just ordered (literally today!) my own duplicatiion machinery so I can start creating and offering more visualisation and meditation cds, audio cds etc.
you won't be able to download that album from that site, you can only listen to it there I think - however you can order a copy from my art of change website if you want (). If money is really an issue then I always offer to send copies out anyway and you can pay when the universe makes it possible...

for massage i recommend cd-s from Szabolcs Kövi.
He is hungarian and have 10 album now.
Dimensiongate, Land of Silence, Blue Sea Meditation...
Very good music.
RE: Recommended music
I find some of Brian Eno's music extremely hypnotic and relaxing. In particular "The Pearl" (with Harold Budd) and "Music for Airports" which was written with the purpose of reducing anxiety for people afraid of flying.
RE: Recommended music
id like to reccomend-om namaha shivaya by robert gass.
i love the hundred thousand angels, always reminds me of the chalice well in glastonbury.:D
RE: Recommended music
lewellyn healing massage and yoga cd's good, and have found a lovely cd 43 angels off the bliss music website, so much new age music is full of nature sounds and water sounds I find this distracting, it can be hard to find music that is constant and peaceful as opposed to invigorating. Also some clients this sort of thing so I find zero seven a super album to use as a change.
RE: Recommended music
I've always liked Enigma
RE: Recommended music
as i posted in a thread elsewhwere i am a big admirer of the work of peter gabriel , i find his work very spiritual , i would also reccomend things liek afro celt sound system , delerium and sarah mclachlan woudl fit in with some of you looking at your music tastes above .
RE: Recommended music

RE: Recommended music
My favourite cd for healing has to be "Sacred Path: Healing Songs of the Native American Church" by Verdell Primeaux & Johnny Mike. This is Native American Indian chants with hardly any background music. But it's not normal chants, more dreamy and very spiritual and peaceful. Everytime I hear the cd it changes my outlook and puts me in a spiritual place.
Definately highly recommended.
