Hi Mac,

You are being too modest lad 😉 I am sure if I can do it - then ANYBODY can.[sm=idea.gif]

How long now before you go on your travels ?

Hi Mac,

You are being too modest lad I am sure if I can do it - then ANYBODY can. Maybe, but I'm not so confident...

How long now before you go on your travels ?

If things go to plan it could be during next summer or just into the autumn. It's impossible to be more sure as we're waiting to see how our daughter settles into university this academic year, and what she intends for the next one. What we've both come to accept is that no matter how many plans we may make, we're not in control. It's not been an easy lesson.

I've offered to produce an archive of the NAS's developments since the beginning, incidentally, Freda. I'm waiting to hear from George who's attending a committtee meeting today. I'll only have a year at maximum to get it completed. Sounds a long time but three years have passed almost in a flash since we started planning our big trip. Even a year can pass quickly - I'm sure you know this.

with love

RE: Astral Work

Hi Parkinson
freda and i were discussing this recently. I do a lot of work on the astral as have been called upon by spirit. I was advised that spirit are positive energy, and we are neutral, therefore we can work between the planes and do the things that the positive spirit cant do because they have no negativity in them. We as humans are neither positive nor negative. We believe that we each have a different calling, some mediums are called upon to do some types of work and some are called on to do others, such as working with negative energies.
I was wondering if this is what you refer to in your post?
I guess that the astral is like the earth plane in many respects, some nice some not so nice, have seen both sides of the coin on both unfortunately. Still though I have seen the light, (obviously not gone through it as I am still here) and the feeling I got from it was wonderous, all the wonderful warm feelings a human can imagine, and thanks to this I have no fear of totally crossing over into the higher planes. But I guess for earth bound spirits, who haven't gone into the light it must be like a living hell. I know its not very nice work for you, but you are a chosen one in this respect and its not a gift given to anyone lightly, you must indeed be a very strong, and special person for spirit to call upon you to do this. Would like to share experiences in private at some point if you have the time?

RE: Astral Work

Hi Shelli, Well after having read all of energyatworks posts it made me reavalute myself and postion on the astral. However, I do not know or understand enough about the astral to really be sure that I should dismiss my astral experience as all being made by myself. Energyatwork says it has to do with me confronting my disbelief in death and I this made some sense to me.

But how do you explain encounters with energies which I can clearly see their plight but they do not want to accept what I have to say, Because of this I have never really felt in control there. And have stopped trying to be. Some of my astral experiences appear dream like, these ones I am more able to attribute my own influence and control in, like from my subconscious. But alot of my expereinces have been life-like often more life-like than my earth ones! And I am not so able to label them as my own creation, well I do believe in vibrationinal connection though.

If you would like to know of some of my expereinces then I would be happy to share them with you.

After years of study, I have found the reason why people feel pain from their severe limbs.

You have to bear with me because I have had a stroke and my brain doesn't work as well as it used, but it is improving slowly, how many people here have lost their limbs, and still feel pain where of the limb was?

This is an explanation of why pain is experienced in the area of the missing limb, after years of study of in the book .In The Light of Truth by Abd-Ru-Shin.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But after the earthy departure of soul the Astral body always remains near the physical body.

The further the soul then moved away the weaker than astral body also becomes, and the ever increasing severance of the soul finaly brings about the decay and decomposition of the astral body, in the same way as it was influenced in its formation.

This is the normal process in accordance with the laws of creation. Naturally special acts of intervention also bring about special conditions and its arrangements, but with out being able to eliminate the lawfulness.

The astral body, which first and foremost depends upon the soul, is the mediator to the physical body. What ever happens to is definitely suffered by the physical body. The sufferings of the physical body, however, much less, although they are closely connected with each other.

If, for example, some part of the physical body is taken away let us suppose it is a finger, then the finger or the actual body is not taken away all so simultaneously, but it remains as before. That is why a person on earth can actually feel pain or pressure periodically at that spot where he no longer possesses a member of his physical body.

Cases of this kind are well and not know, man never found the proper explanation of it because he lacked the survey.

Thus the elemental beings knot and connect all the souls to their astral bodies, which we shall call the bodies of medium gross matter, while the earthly bodies, even when coming into existence, we are directly connected with the body of medium gross matter and form and develop accordingly.

Peace and light

Peter

This is an ancient thread.... One of the earlier contributors has passed over, a second has dementia, the third no longer posts here.

Yours is one explanation but our doctors have another. To a phantom-limb pain sufferer I don't suppose it much matters what the correct version is. What (s)he needs is pain relief and scientists have found a way to help with that.

There is absolutely no need to apologise for anything. I didn't know if you'd realised it was a dead thread.

The phantom limb subject could make for an interesting discussion.....
