Hi, i was wondering if you have experience the enegy connection with birds(wing ones:D) talking to their spirit. Like say Blackbird.
One came into my conseratory and got stuck and he let me pick him up, and as i stroke his little head, he just look up at me with his little eye and i spoke to him. As i layed him on the grass outside.....he stayed for a moment and then flew to the top of house.......he then gave a loud shreik and flew away.
But he returns nearly everyday. If i go out, he's there when i come back in and he starts chirp.
Have i made a friend for life.

It seem you have friend in the birds, they are very good messager....i beleive.
Was not shore on Cardinal, so had a look and it's got lovely red color............
The story about the sparrow.....What a lovely thing to do.
A few years back i also help a sparrow who was trap with his leg in thin string (like cotton) and i had to bring him in door and cut it off...........he was so good and i talk to him as i was cutting it off. Relesed him and set him free. It was good to see him fly off. I do love the birds......very much Black Crow. Im having a Drum made in America and the man wife is painting a Crow on it for me. A strange thing happen to me last year while i was on hoilday......i was out walking along country road and as i was passing a field.......i notice a great big bird (it looked like it was a Hawk)........but it was as big as a human.........i thought i was seeing things..........then it went to take off and just dissapeard. (i haven't shared this story before)...........now i know it was a shapeshifter looking after me on the lonely country roads.

Hi white_crow, such a lovely story about baby robin.
Will just tell you in short, I never grew up with my brothers...... never saw them untill we met about 4 years ago. And they told me when they were kids they had look after a baby bird they had found , who had been abandon.....and it turn out to be a Crow.
The Crow stayed with them for years(was not pened up or anything) and it protected them as if it was a dog... it would attact people it thought was negitve. As i was told the story by my brother I remember......seeing Crow land on the roof of my Dad house. I said "i like to have a crow feather" to my brother...as we went back to house........there was a feather left for me outside dads front door.
And very strange....the man who said he would make me a drum......said he will send me some Crows feather as well, i had not even ask. Hopeing to still recieve a picture of the Crow from brother.
When i see Robin , it remind me answers to my problem lie within my Heart.

Very nice experience!
I had a simular experience once before...I use to go to parks nearly everyday to read books before I went into work...(there were about 6 different ones that I frequented to- I was working 7 days a week for a few months to earn cash to move out west). During that time it was the beginning of time that I felt a strong connection with crows....took a walk and found a crow feather in my pathway by my car...this feather was certainly pushed into the ground so the wind couldn't move it! And there weren't any humans around during my visit...it was a small park.
I can't remember if I made a wish or not for that...it's likely in my journel...but I remember crows being on my mind. I still have that feather!

if you mean me recieving messages from birds then the answer is yes.......i think you are asking what message the blackbird has for you, well only you can answer that entirly though i would say it is calling you deeper into shamanism as its a 'gateway' bird......also one of the 5 oldest animals within druid tradition.
i also get the impression you/your spirit are feeling trapped and/ or confined somehow and your soul wishes to fly.....
blackbird also teaches freedom thru the use of journeying herbs.....some of which can be toxic to us
