I just read something about Robin a couple of days ago actually. There wasn't much information, but it was basically about 'new beginnings and growth', the ability to make a positive change in your life.

Hope that helps, maybe someone else will have more information on Robin as a messenger.

I like the message on this link about the robin

i feel he's about vocal expression, energising the throat chakra, and creative speaking, new avenues to explore, an adventure.

I spotted something else about the Robin this morning. Ever noticed how they perch on top of things....gate posts, washing line posts, fences, I saw one right on the top of the sweetpea wigwam this morning ...made me think how they get on top of things. You know....when things get you down......you can get on top of it all:)

There's an old superstition about when a Robin comes into the house, a death is to occur. Though I don't credit superstitions, a Robin did indeed come into my house three times, each time before a death. Then once, shattered by many losses, and deeply alone, I silently cried out to the Great Spirit to give me a sign of love, the Robin flew down suddenly to land just in front of me, staring intently at me. This presaged a new cycle of events, a conception and birth, in a way, of a new way of being.

The * Robin and the Jenny Wren are prevalent at Christmas/ Yule and are associated with death and rebirth of the Celtic year, so it is not to surprising that * Robin would turn up with good news.
