Yes you can. I am Christian and have totem animals.
RE: Question...
I don't see why not. If you nip along to New Member Forum, you could tell us a little about yourself. Welcome to HP.

RE: Question...
Welcome Brother Bear,
Another thought re animal totem, when we are born our date of birth relates to our zodiac birth sign for me I was born 9th November Sun sign Scorpio and my birth totem on the zodiac wheel is a Scorpion, my wife was born on the 24th March sun sign Aries and the totem animal depicted on the zodiac wheel is , the Ram.
In Chinese astrology my birth year sign is a Boar/Pig and my wife's is a Dragon
So in a sense we are all born with a totem animal.
Some traditions state that we are born with at least nine animal helpers.
Others say Angels take the form of an animal spirit to assist us in understanding the animal kingdoms and change back to angel form again.
As Creator (God) created all things then the animals also contain the spirit of the divine source as do we.
Enjoy your totem animal as they teach us many things.
RE: Question...
Hi BrotherBear, I am a Christian with a respect of all religions, for in the end all are one, and yes you can have a totem or power animal, i have a few also, Black Panther, Bear, Wolf, and now a Lioness is coming in,;) with an Egyptian connection. :).
I myself have had a lot of conflict within about all this when i started out on my path, and have learn't much because of it, in the end i found the most important part was to Give it love and love yourself, have fun, [sm=hug.gif]
RE: Question...
Angel Light I too went through the same turmoil as you.
Most in part because of what my faith taught about other faiths.
I even lost my way on my Shaman path for awhile.
Being lost effected my physical and spiritual health. But since retracing my steps and finding my way back to my path. The fog is lifting and things are more clear. I can literally feel my wellbeing back.
But I most thoughly agree with Paul Big Bear.
As Creator (God) created all things then the animals also contain the spirit of the divine source as do we.
I love that phrase.
